well I haven't had the opportunity to try the persistency till today, and I found that being someone who just re-made their squads after the last persistancy reset there (when we had triple the resources) I was at a bit of a dissadvantage facing people who had already played atleast a day or so.

I come out of my spawn right into two caliopee barages from 1 player, and my partner comes out to a fully upgraded sherman and upgraded halftrack sitting in his spawn in, way to go WCO guys.. we just retreated and quit, there is no use to play people who are only there to stop you from even being able to play, not with the persistancy the way it is right now.

we want to be able to enjoy testing this game and learning how it works, of course spawn camping is obviously able to happen and probably WILL happen, butwhen you are first time players, you have very little to truly stop some of the upgraded things as you have very limited resources for the first day.

of course I did play some other games and will continue to play and help test.

fldash took the huge resourses away so people wouldn't just reset if they were low, but now that is hurting new players.

also, their should have been a arty bararge that come down if the enemy is too near your spawn...

I may have to increase that distance... no need to be that close.

one other thing, and Lai agrees, the defenders are at a big advantage on the Vcoh maps becuase of all the sectors, the VP timer shoot down, maybe the attackers should get some more VPs at the start...

artillery should come down sooner too.  Right now, the defenders can run a guy through the spawn and cap the territories severely slowing down the attack since you have no 'neutrals' to cap.

If they enter your 'Home' sector the enemy should get blasted.

many of the call-in points are on the very edges of 'home' sectors.

easily with artillery range of any sort.

Not giving people ideas... but you could just put a Flak outside their spawn out of artillery range and still in range to blast all their troops Sad.

either you bring in a sniper first scount and bring in the nessisary counter for what ever is near you be it a tank, or just a AC etc.

or players could be more considerate to new players.  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

or there could be a way to stop this.

do you have a replay?

Yeah... It its hard
I mean new players can buy 4 anti tank guns... But that dose not help when you get attackted by lets say 10 Veteran Snipers, or 2 veteran Tigers.
And stuff like that...

The problem is not that the new players are to week, its that the Beginers should not fight against the big players.
Sould be some way to train the soliders noobs against noobs

maybe you could assign some sorta RANK system to define who has a vet(used) squad and who is a beginner first day or two player.

that way when making matches they will know they are fighting someone who will be able to field better and more vet'd equipment then them, and know how to fight.

We're developing methods to control both the issue of spawn camping off the bat and overpowered companies fighting underpowered ones.
