The mod is back up and running, just run the updater - and you should be set.

Just a few things (bugs...)

-  Some maps will crash the game.  A seperate post will be made to keep track of them.

Just a quick update, the new 2.400 patch has broken compatibility with Europe In Ruins: Reinforcements.

Hopefully, later this week, the patch for TOV will remove the restrictions imposed.

As many of you know, last year we were one of 7 modifications to win the Moddb.com 2007 Editor's Choice Award.  Well 2008 has arrived, and Europe In Ruins was nominated for a Moddb.com Editor's Choice Award in the category of Most Innovative Multiplayer.  While we didn't win the award this year, it was great to get a nomination and we'd just like to thank our community for their support during the long haul of getting EIR: Reinforcements out.

Europe In Ruins is proud to announce the release of its expansion:



EiR combines the fast paced strategy of vCoH with a persistant and ongoing war. The game is intense and action packed.

EIR:Reinforcements adds to the initial game we all love by adding in the British, the Panzer Elite, a new game mode, and a whole new back-end launcher with new innovative systems for army purchase and persistence.  What is in this release:

- Play all four armies (British, PE, American, Wehrmacht)!
- Glider drops and Fallschrimjager paradrops!
- A new game mode!
- The ability to choose Allied/Axis attack!
- 29 maps specifically designed for EIR:R, as well as the ability to play all of your old vCoH favorites!
- A brand new launcher!
- Complete persistency!  All units retain vet, and continue to use it in their next battles!
- A complete installer that contains the EIR:R files, launcher, and maps!
- Basic unit unlock doctrines!
- A new soft capping availability system!
- The gameplay experience that you've come to know and love from Europe In Ruins!

What will happen now:

If you are an old-timer, your precious armies from this last, long war will be removed.  The War Control Panel will cease to exist.  It will be replaced by a link to register and download the new launcher.
