Checklist

1. Do you have recrew infantry?
2. Can you clear enemy units out of buildings safely?
3. Do you have at least 10 Anti Tank Points?
(Rate yourself by doing this... M10/Marder/50mm ATHT/ ATG = 2 points, Stickie = 1/2 Pt, Piats/Schrecks/Zooks = 1 points, P4/Sherman= 1 points, Tiger/Panther/Pershing/KT= 3 points maybe?)
4. Do you have force multipliers? (Able to hold back a BLOB of infantry?) How many?
5. Do you have assault troops?
6. Do you have at least 1 anti-sniper option?
7. Are most of your call-ins about 7-13 in size?
8. Can you clear mine fields?
9. Does your first Call-In (25 popcap) fight off both infantry and tanks or hold the ground adequately?

Exceptional Situations
i. Are you able to fight off elite infantry blobs?
ii. Can you fight off Super Heavies?
iii. Can you fight off <insert relevant most common strat>

Example w/ US

1. Rifles. Tons of Rifles.
2. Okay I'll get a mortar. I have a sniper as well.
3. I got 4 ATGs (8points), 4 Shermans (4pts), looks pretty good.
4. Well .30 CAL MG is shit... but I've got 6-8 BARs in total. (Wehr/CW can use MG42/Wickers MG)
5. Okay I'll get flame engies
6. Hmm, I've got 1 jeep and my sniper can counter-snipe as well.
7. Yeah, except for a dual sherman call in ^^
8. 1 Mine Sweeper
9. I got ATG, Stickie, Sniper, BARs, Jeep for blocking tanks and scouting. It'll hold but I don't expect miracles.

i. Thats what the croc is for =D Snipers can clear grens w/ dual lmgs/schrecks as well
ii. AP rounds on ATG... check.

Feel free to customise your company as you get better... but these are the basic ideas for making a company. Answer all these questions and you're guaranteed to do well.

People have inf call ins of more then squad? Wow, everything in my coy is in a call in box by themselves except my opening call in.
Hell, sometimes I don't even have that depending what army/doc I am. Saying that, its usually PE I do this, I build my opening using one box (so I don't have to do the maths), when I got one I feel is good, I move all the inf into the second box and leave my vechs in the first one so I have my opening in two parts. Mainly so that my vechs don't get clusterfucked trying to move around inf and losing time that could be used setting mines up/bumrushing them Tongue
My commandos opening would be even worse, I typically split that into 4 to try and counteract my gliders bugging or crashing on landing and losing all/most of my opening to randomness Tongue

Either this doesn't work or I'm doing spam wrong. I picked a supposed spam company and went through the list, hit every box except recrew inf. Here's a flamer spam company

1. Sorta, 6 squads of tommies but they are to be used sparingly for recrew
2. Flamers, smoke, crocs
3. 20pts - 7 atgs and 3 crocs [I rated the croc as 2 pts]
4. Smoke, 6 riflenades and 2 ccts with creeping smoke barrage
5. 14 Flamers
6. 2 Bren carriers
7. Yes
8. 1 minesweeper
9. 2 flamers, 2 riflenades, cct, atg - rapes inf and holds tanks with cct blocking

i. I destroy elite inf blobs like it's my business, flamers, smoke, crocs
ii. 7 atgs holds off heavies through sheer weight of numbers
iii. Bring it on

Shockie, try a going against a P4 IST spam company... might be difficult for you. I would recommend for you to ditch some ATGs and get a Firefly instead. Churchies are good but your company is very tailored against infantry only. A KT could provide difficulty (Unless you got at least 3 ATGs on the field) but you would mope up all the KCH that usually comes with them.

my favorite is when someone calls spam on a balanced company. ie using up all your FU and MU or you ate up pool in some categories, and only having MP left for a bunch of rifles/volks, then someone says volks/rifle spam lol.
