Mod we have a problem...

Okey so im at my families homestead, borrowing my younger brothers computer.
And on this very nice box I have only installed ToV via steam, which gives you a CoH module but not the entire original coH game.

And I ahve been playing on this comp many a times before so i do not think this is the issue.

But the problem at hand is this, after everyone has RTL'ed and I hit the Launch button the EiR launcher tabs down, and some seconds go by, then the launcher pops upp again, entirely blank, in the top left part of the window it says EiR Launcher client, and after 2 more seconds (not responding) and then the launcher appears again, i try hitting the launch button again but the same process.

I have tried restarting the comp, re logging steam and reinstalling the EiR module, yet nothing is working...why???

if you have downloaded the battlefile would you not be able just to start the game in replay mode and play that way?

Hrmmmm I guesss just seems such a round about way of doing it... must be some reason why it worked and now it dont, it bothers me tbh.

Also i was wondering if the placement of EiR files in coH folder could effect the game this way?

could the couse of the problome that is annoying you just be the launcher cant read the Company of heroes startup file?

Inconvenient isn't the word Heartmann, I've had to use this method for the past two years thanks to being on a router. >.<

As for me iam at the old homestead, still doing the "visit at least once a year" routine with the old relatives.

I installed it in Steam\steamapmps\common\Company of heroes(And yes i removed the extra CoH line that the game adds)

Ok now i did try doing it the Replay way but it wont start Not a single CoH game related thing will start, or even make the com glich.

Other games work Np, just CoH am is just as unresponsive as a knocked out teenager on proom night..

Seems like something's fucked up with your steam installation then
Or maybe you screwed the .exe path

No idea tbh, im reinstalling it again, see if i did something wrong, but tbh, i have no clue what it can be doing, im not even getting an error message, its just unresponsive.

Ok i fixed it, apparently it had to do with the game itself not the mod, i had to reinstall everything .. Bah pain in ze ass!
Seeing as i had to re-downland everything from steam at least i didnt have to deal with finding the right disks and cd-keys ^^
