Stuart: felt exactly the same, it still bounced of the rear of a tiger after i think 4-5 shots to the rear of a tiger they all bounced.

You have a problem with a Stuart not being able to take on a Tiger?.......

I don't even know where to start...lol

plus stuart usually penetrates Tigers from the rear.

Only time you have a problem when your not quite there and it pings off side armor still.

Stuarts penetration values versus Tiger were unchanged; so I wouldn't expect it to perform any differently than it did.

for a light tank that can pop in and out of cover to harass a bigger tank, thats enough for me

I was using the tiger as a example and you proved my point even though  its penetration was changed it didnt seem like it was.  so tell me what target tables were changed then.

After testing the units I think they excel at their new roles. The Stag is a bit expensive with all the upgrades though.

Stag change to be a worse M8 makes no sense, and the Stuart is worthless shit.

lol ampm.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

The higher DPS of the Stag is great vs units that can't counter it with AT. While the M8, Bren, M3 HT, etc will also kill said unit just as well.

It also loses a mine on the M8, and has a higher price tag. Just saying, it has it's place, next to the Wirblewind.

Just so I'm on the same page as you, are you saying that having more DPS on the Stag than M8 is only useful versus units who have no AT capabilities? So being able to kill a Pak or Shrek squad 33% faster doesn't really make much difference to a units performance?

The price of the Stag is under consideration and will be finalized after the BT reviews its new performance. As for the upgrades, the M8 mine is amazing but the Canister shot does have its usefulness. Its can instantly suppress squads leaving them vulnerable to Captain FOO or other forms of fire. It is also controllable unlike the M8 mine. Not to mention, the Stag will not lose its MG; whereas, the M8 can and often does.

@aero; read the patch notes for target table changes to Stuart:
- Target table penetration values versus P4, P4 IST, Ostwind, and Stug increased by 0.1

Okay well TBH the tiger was at like 5% so yes i expect to hit the rear of a tank 5-6 and 1 penetrate and kill it or at least damage engine. Kinda like a puma upgun can do the same to a pershing.

Stuarts can easily do it.

Fact is if you don't have doctrine buffs for it, use a cct

After all the whining about how new armor types "couldn't be done", finally they've been introduced.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

But you have no idea of what you're talking about and it makes you sound like a dick.

Creating new armors are done through a script that a custom modder at RN made. Up until last year, for the entire span of CoH's life, no one has been able to add new armors.

So when you don't know something you respond like a douchebag? Sounds like you have an issue........

You could have said, "Wow, I thought you guys could not code different armor types. Glad you found a way".

But you chose to be a douchbag.........atta boy.

Also note guys, that this was only an RGD patch - we will be having a launcher patch sometime soon as well, which will include quite a few new goodies.

Not quite, it's only because previously I recall a few development team memebers insisting (and in LeoPhone's case, particularily rudely) that new armor types were an impossibility. I was unaware that now the armor creation process was simplified, and thus decided to put a word in edgewise about it.
