I noticed the 88 change too - i'm not sure it will make the 88 any easier to deal with. Now you'll have atgs dealing 25% damage to it.  Would have liked to see a marder nerf in this patch, +2 pop

you shouldn't notice any difference for now, the current stats of the new armor types are just copies of existing armor. the only changes that were made to them were some bugfixes like armored car friendly fire or pak38 pen. vs panther. some weapons also had different accuracy modifiers vs bren carrier armor(what pe armored cars & inf hts used before) compared to the armor type all the PE support halftracks used. now all weapons have the same stats vs any PE light vehicle, the only difference is the stats vs small arms.

Not entirely a fan of the stag change.. Seems like what's been done is essentially the stag becoming a greyhound with a shittier main gun and a higher price.

Stuart just seems to have gotten mega-nerf-batted. Might give an incentive for people to go tetties instead of stuarts, though.

88 changes seem... severe, to say the least - but I'm not going to say anything. It really could go either way with the 88.

Not a fan of the axis medium tank changes. It makes un-skirted tanks more desirable - yes, but skirted ones are at exactly the same situation as before. Not sure if that's what was desired.

@Myst

The Staghound was brought inline to be only an AI unit, as you can see with the armour change, Shreks will miss the staghound much more now, and canister round added

Stuart was buffed to do well in its specified role.

Staghound - so it's become a greyhound with a crappier main gun, a 50% higher fuel price and no minedrop ability. And no, canister rounds do not make up for the lack of mine-drop. Tell me where I'm wrong.

(keep in mind though that even if I think the greyhound is OP - it doesn't mean that nerfing the staghound to be worse than the greyhound will make the greyhound any more balanced)

Stuart - the specified role being light vehicle killing and a slight-medium buff against tanks (depending on the tank in question)? At the cost of being 22.5% less potent against infantry and a 59% higher fuel price. OK. To me that's a nerf. Axis don't really have that many light vehicles to warrant a dedicated anti-LV unit, and the stuart still remains a poor choice against anything heavier than a StuG.

the mg on the stag and the armor buff, the main gun has contributed nothing to its AI ability wtf is your problem, it was being used to take out tanks it was not sopposed to.

There is a new faction out, its called panzer elite, maybe you've heard of it

The armour and health make it equivalent to the greyhound in terms of survivability. The MG is admitedly slightly better - but you can deny this all you want - the main gun IS a factor in how well a light vehicle does against infantry. And the fact remains that the main gun on the greyhound is better - to the extent that the MG on the staghound only bridges the gap, at best. Making, again, the staghound just a more expensive version of the greyhound. What's so hard to understand? And anyone that lost a tank to a staghound even before a change seriously needed to get their micro checked.

And panzer elite is comprised of nothing but IHTs, MHTs and Hummels, right?

I'm not going to continue arguing the staghound, ive said what i needed to say

Marder, Hotchkiss, Scout car, puma, AC, halftracks in general, so vampire, wm halftracks. man the list goes on, and now with the armor change making it better against tanks instead of being able to dodge shreks, its role is increased.
