They said the SDK was suppose to come out around during Xmas. Xmas was when? How many months has it been since then? Hmmm... I think they lied about SDK coming out around Xmas, but I don't know I could be wrong....

I've decided not to trust Valve and them on release dates...

SDK should be out in april, and then im going to hopefully make a kick ass mod for it, that makes things a bit more "realistic" with romero style zombies and such and no infected, purely coop gameplay, and hopefully 8 survivors =)

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Thread necro ftw.

Is anyone still playing it? I could finally found a place to buy it where the price doesn't give me the creeps xD.

I love the game, but it's so damn dead, there's no point trying to find a pickup game.

Hopefully in the sequel they don something to make the levels more refreshing.

It didn't have the replay value they promised; once you played each campaign 3 times, you generally knew where everything was all the time. Survival mode is a joke.

There is a massive outpouring of user made content appearing though, me and a few friends (well upto and over 8 from my gaming community) play on Mondays/Thursdays.

Was a bit of a pain getting everyone to get the same map/version etc but can be worth it to try something refreshing, even if slightly, or sometimes direly bugged or unfinished.

I hate survival modes, total waste of time, it should be called exploit mode as that's what it involves most times, whether irt be breaking the level or abusing the AI.

Steam have had a few sales making it less than half price at some points.
Try and keep an eye out on it, or get someone you know who is on there everyday to give you a heads up.

It wasn't worth the full price, but it was definitely worth £13.  Grin

Couldn't spell at that time of morning it seems

It's not worth full price imo.

But the current state of TF2 isn't exactly anything to shout about either.
It is easier to get a fun game with friends in though, and it's also a lot more supported and fleshed out.

Great game. Its fun on versus mode when you have good opponents, AND teammates.

Tho the campaings are pretty worn out already.. I remember when we got the demo version with Nightrain, we kept playing it thru and thru it ^^

The campaings are pretty interesting if you can check everything out of the maps. Theres alot of easter eggs, different "stories" from other survirors.. But the bad side is that they are interesting only once. As you have played through every single campaing, and checked out everything in every campaing, its pretty easy to get bored on campaing and move to versus, or even worse, stop playing the whole game.

But yeah, versus is much more interesting with a good team that does stuff together instead of these lone wolf wannabes who want to pounce around as hunter and leave game after its his turn to be survivor.

But yeah, overall a great multiplayer game when it comes to having PHUNTIMES
