The Spotting range on the jeep aint that good tbh, i was suprised when i was able to bundle a jeep without him even spotting me but i should not derail this thread anymore.

well tbh i love the idea of of more units dropping stuff but it would be better if they would be made a little worse or super rare and not be droppin flamers.

These weapons would have much lower drop rates then the heavy LMGs and handheld AT; plus its your choice if you want to pick up that spare MP40, you can choose to do so or keep your tommies' rifles for greater effect. I dont think a price reduction would be 'fair', because along with the fact that youd only lose out on the weapons if you let your unit get killed, but its entirely possible to come back later and pick those weapons up on another squad.

No. It just opens up the possibility that they enemy can pick up your weapons. And if the drop rates are even lower then why even have them at all? Grenadiers rarely drop their LMGs unless the entire squad dies. If the drop rate was lower then there would be no reason to have them at all, just as I said CQB weapons are only better if you have many of them.

I remember the Thompson (and MP40, correct me if I'm wrong) was droppable in CoHO, so you could probably implement it easily if you had the game files.

doing it is easy. it's a matter of balance. If we make Assault weapons drop on death(potentially) no one is going to use them aggressively. There is too much risk of dropping expensive and effective weapons. Most games would be grinding attrition wars using mortars and artillery because the fear of dropping everything

i still say g43 needs to be added to list since it's on line with bren, lmg and bar in that it's a mainline troop upgrade.

if you add in assault weapons, i'd say put the drop rate at like 2.5% i think that's fair enough. With 4 of 'em, there's a  10% chance u get one thats still pretty low

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

why would you want to pick up 1 G43, if you dont even get slow? 1 G43 wont make as much DPS difference as an LMG42 or Bren.

Completely pointless. One smg makes no difference for the billionth of times. And yes G43s should be made droppable.
