They are a worthless unit it seems. Has anyone found a decent use for them? I'm not entirely sure why I'd choose this over an upgraded scoutcar

Trow them in a HT, they become a mobile supression platform when mixed with the HT MG.

They will be getting a pass over before becoming doctrinal. Use them in a HT and they work great at suppressing.

Wher HMG supression Long 0.0125 Mid 0.015 Short 0.015 mg34_support_lmg (Well that is if the support grens are using this gun) Long 0.008 Mid 0.018 Short 0.016 mg34_lmg (the normal Wher Gren LMG) Long 0.0015 Mid 0.003 Short 0.006 Use HT to get mid/short range Supress everything  profit Also, if you are wondering why you dont ever see it be of much use it because its short range is 0-10, mid is 10-20, long is 20-25 and then it goes to distant which is 25-40 but the distant supression is 0.006. Granted i tought distant wasnt used in EIR but i guess i was wrong. |

They are not only supposed to work with the HT, they are supposed to work independently. Due to their current stats they will never pin troops and we'd like to look into making that a possibility as well as increasing their lethality.

^Useless post? If they planned that change before last patch it would have been done already. Since it wasn't, there needs to be some kind of reason why they would be useful on WM. Someone decided to include them as a reward WM unit after all

All reward units were made cross-factional, including Support Grenadiers. Some cross-factional reward units are inherently more useful than others.
As for Support Grenadiers going mainline, it'll depend upon what changes we make to PE as a whole. It may or may not be entirely necessary.
