Rangers with thopsons or anzacs? what os better?

Ok silly thread but ill wade in.

Rangers are a jack of all trades unit, able to specualise in either AI or AT or both roles.

Anzacs on the other hand are a dedicated AI/ assault unit.

While they both share the same soundd for their weapons the anzacs actually have the owen smg.

 And ones an unlock other is reward unit

Whilst the ANZAC's do have the Owen SMG, it is statistically identical to the Thompson.

They are for all intents and purposes a cheaper variation of the Thompson Rangers. Use them if your company does not have access to dedicated SMG assault infantry, or if you want high AI firepower on a budget.

ANZAC's have 70 HP per man with AB armour, whilst Rangers have 65 HP per man with elite armour (Can be knocked up to 70 with mid T3, however ANZACS also benefit and get 75 per man)

The only real difference between AB and Elite armour is that you need to be moving with AB armour to get the incoming accuracy buff.

Rangers will come out for survivability having the 6th man, where ANZAC's have higher DPS for Munitions by essentially having 5 Thompsons off the bat.

If you can get a few of them, I'd recommend taking ANZAC's where you can, unless you're a huge fan of fireup. ANZAC's can sort out MG's pretty well with good smoke grenade usage though.

I took anzac's over mando's trololol.

Really the owen gun is a carbon copy of thompson ?

 Always it hit harder but had worse accuracy.
