Why do units in a moving vehicle shoot as if they were in a stationary building? That makes no sense what-so-ever.

Cause otherwise shreks wouldn't be able to fire.

Gameplay reasons in other words.
Realistically it'd probably be nearly impossible to get a shot off in a moving vehicle. But we didn't have a customisable HT that allows infantry to fire out of it before OF, and now we do, so more variety!

Realistically the 2 MG34's or 42's on a normal Wehr HT would shred a rifle blob too =)
Gameplay reasons.

Realistically, if you fired a shreck inside of a halftrack; you would kill all the passengers and yourself due to the heat from the back blast.

Shreks can only fire when the user isn't moving. Everyone in a halftrack is apparently counted as stationary.
Though this is kinda Fridge Logic...this means that units shooting out of a moving halftrack are more accurate than units shooting while moving on foot. In fact, just as accurate as units that are standing still. Unless there's some sort of hidden modifier associated with halftracks.

All german units garrisoned within halftracks get oversupplied with beer, causing increased random swaying that compensates and cancels out the increased random swaying of a moving vehicle.

^ I lol'd... as for what Ark said, pretty much, ditto a schreck inside of a building shouldn't be able to fire or it'd kill the squad. certain guns would tear squads apart like coaxials, bike guns, jeep guns, iht mgun, basically any machine gun that is like a 2 right now would be insanely good irl and tear infantry apart. also irl, i'd be able to have 4-6 artillery pieces and 5-10 mortars to barrage an area with.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

IRL, the germans would have to hide in the bushes all day from the RAF

Let me rephrase this then, WHY do they need to be able to shoot perfectly out of a vehicle? schrecks are deadly enough, heck anything gets twice as deadly when it's in a moving mg42, I just don't get why they need to have such great accuracy, if anything I think it's a deterrent to game play there is no negative to being a a clown car chasing a tank except for if you run into an AT gun. I mean 75mm sherman will lose to a schreck squad in a IHT.

The cost of the IHT + Shreck squad, so cost is one.
Another issue right now is that when the IHT blows, all the men inside die most of the time. It makes PE a lot harder to use as a result if you want to be clown caring.

But the casualty rate is most likely going to be fixed, they wanted people to die, but I don't think they intended for them to take 90% casualties lol.

a inf halftrack is not a moving mg42 it is more a moving lmg the accuracy is afaik not better it is only easier to get close to tanks and you cannot be kited from tanks and actually would say a sherman still beats a shreksquad in an inf halftrack but 405-455MP 110muni and 25 fuel units could come close to a 395mp 0 muni 250 fuel unit

He's talking about double schrek squads.
So 405-455mp 220-240mu, 25fu
I'll say it should beat a god damned Sherman.

I don't know if this is a bug or not but flames seem to have no affect on infantry in halftracks now.

So I've seen a single schreck squad able to circle a sherman in an IHT. Why should they have near perfect accuracy when they already have the bonus of extra speed, not taking damage themselves, and an lmg as well, I would agree that the MG on the IHT is closer to an lmg then a 42.
And it's not just about schrecks in there, what about falls in there?

I can't confirm this too, but I have a nagging suspicion. I don't think you can snipe infantry out of the IHT any more as well. Probably due to the armour type change.
