Well as the title says I find that the Sherman Calliope's Vet requirements are far to high...

25 for vet 1, 100 for vet 2, and 200 for vet 3! This is getting close to pershing vet requirements and this is an artillery piece.

I propose lowering vet requirements down the something like

17 for vet 1, 67 for vet 2, and 133 for vet 3...

This isnt an arty piece that ganks entire squads in one hit like a priest or hummel.. this is an arty piece in the stuka and nebel family that pretty much causes damage to alot of squads in an area without killin a whole lot therefore I think the vet requirements need to go down alot, because as of now its got the highest vet requirements in the game for an arty piece.

Please Discuss and dont go off topic or turn this into a flamewar, kthxbai

Should stay as it is. The calliope is a special artillery piece with no comparable unit on axis side.

Its armour and mobility is better than other artillery pieces and the spread of its barrage is unmatched, clearing broad fields of enemies.

It's already easy to vet it up, no need to have 12348934 Vet 3 calliopes like in old EiR.

tbh calliope is better then hummel, with its wide target area you have a much larger chance of hitting shit then a hummel does.

Now bear makes his own funny thread. It's unsurprisingly not funny.

He's right though, Hummel is meant to counter tanks and fires 4 inaccurate shells. Sharpshooter's vet 2 calliope has ended dozens of my vet weapons crews and infantry I don't see how he can complain. It's next to impossible to kill, since it is relatively fast, has tank armor, and doesn't ever need to get close to the front lines. Even if dbl schreck storms could sneak up on it, they take several volleys of hits which never happens and they are crushed quickly.

the calliope has high vet requirements as it is the most survivable of all artillery pieces.  It will take a long time to vet up properly, but then again it won't die often, unless you're really badly stormtrooper rushed.
