25 Pounder is a basic british unit in vCoH. I'm sure there is a reason for this.

Wher get access to both the stuka and nebel, they are at 1 in reserve. PE have mortar HT which is deadly with the flame barrage.

US have their mortar, which is crap, since it gets beat out by axis mortar in range, and gets beat out by Mortar HT. British have a mortar which is too weak, and is pretty much useless with its crappy range. In a stalemate axis are sure to win with all these non-doctrinal arty pieces.

If brits had a 25 pounders they could compete against the nebel, HT, and stuka. Give it to brits with only 1 in reserve. I mean has anyone used a mortar pit to effect?

So it's 25" for all and overcharge whatever higher range and the extrabarrages for artillery? sounds reasonable. Will still die to MortarHTs...

the 25 pounder has only just better than mortar range without supercharge .

I think the British need it too, but if you give them back their arty, put a limit on the piat spam, man that gets old fast....

the only real viable tactics for brits at the moment is spam of some sort - rifile nade spam to deal with assault groups, or PIAT spam to counter the fact the weapons are so ridiculously inaccurate they at least suffice as a deterrant.
