germans were good at field mods. Thats were we got the fine marder series.

The marder series were pieces of shit compared to the US tank destoyers.  Marder III mounted the same gun as the Panzer IV, it was slow, ungainly, had an extremely high silhouette, more poorly armored than an M8, and open topped.

They were better than the towed AT guns they replaced, but it was a death trap, as even machine gun fire can penetrate their armor and artillery was a nightmare for marders.

The US tank destoyers had better firepower, better mobility, a turret, better protection, better pretty much everything.

That Flak88 was mid war made,
When the Germans began to attack the russians they overumbeld the russians therefor they captured many tanks without they where destroyed.

And for all 12year old nabs,
You can mount a Flakk88 on the roof of a 4.5 ton car and fire it, and it wont flipp over, you might go eaven to 4 ton.

The gun barrle is made so that 70% of the shook that travels back goes thro the gun when its moved back after its been fired. Making it more like Auto Reload

Its like a big G44, if you ever fired it you notice that is quite not so much punch back as a Kar98

Just cause they're both 75mm does not mean they're the same gun. The Marder uses the 75mm Pak40, highly effective at Anti-Armour, with far better range and velocity (resulting in superior penetration) than the 75mm Kwk40 that the Panzer IV uses.

From wikipedia: <!--comment by me-->
The main difference the among the rounds fired amongst by 75 mm German guns is in the length and shape of the cartridge cases for the PaK 40. The 7.5 cm KwK (tank) <used on Panzer IV> fixed cartridge case is twice the length of the 7.5 cm KwK 37 (short barrelled 75 mm <used on Panzer IV Support Tank>), and the 7.5 cm PaK 40 cartridge is a third longer than the 7.5 cm KwK 40 <used on Marder III and Geschutzwagen>.

penetration difference was minimal between the guns used...  about 5mm using pzgr39 ammo, may be more with pzgr40..

doesnt explain why IVG,Stug,Hetzer have 87.5 damage and penetration in game and mardar has 150 lol...

The whole reason German, like the russians adopted these style mobile at guns was for to reasons,

Firstly Cost,  variant such as the marder where very cheap to probduce
Secondly obselete tank being retrofited with bigger guns,  take an old tank/ chassis and put a dirty big gun on it.  Yes its not purpose build but hey when your backs against the wall and you need some think to take of the hoades of t-34 it does the job quite admirable.
