Got this playing the new map das somethingland, a 4v4 map. Other players said they were experiencing flickers while playing, the first id say 2-3 minutes of the game were fine. Then it just started happening, it was as if the game were entering cinematic mode, i could not see my deployment stuff, although i could still click around and move units. alt+tabbing would fix it for a brief few seconds then it would revert back to the weird view.

I have a Core2 Duo E6750 @ 2.66
4 GB of 3200 RAM
Nvidea GeForce 8800 GTX

I have my settings on high, and I've played quite a few 4v4s and have not had this problem.

nah its a glitch on your CoH.  Try alt tabbing out and in of the game, that sometimes fixes those.

Otherwise you'll have to restart CoH.  It's clearly a graphical error.

Looks like graphical artifacts, which are symptoms of overheating.

That's because your 9500 GT is vastly inferior to his 8800 GTX.

Additionally, those are shots of graphical artifacting. Check your heat levels and other running processes as well as the age of your power supply.

No its the map.  I had the weird flashing thing in the first picture too.

And I have a quad 9400, 4 gigs of ram, and GTX260.   My GPU doesnt go beyond 60c.

There's definately something wrong with the map.  It seems like its flashing lightning during the daytime or something, and its bright as hell.   Although the rest of the glitches looks like his graphics card is overheating.

Hey guess what guys, the 8800gtx is better than the 9500gt!

The map is definitely flashy and buggy.

It's a heat problem. That graphical glitch only appears when your card is overheating.

It's your video card.

I too have an Nvidia 8800 GTX but mine is the 512.

I downloaded the latest drivers.... started having problems.  So I went back to the drivers in march and the problems were fixed.

Change your drivers back because the ones in May/June are shit.

The atmosphere settings for it are annoying. It's like it's lightening in broad daylight, which causes the game to flash randomly.

if youre using DX10, dont do it. use DX9. to do this, set shader options to high, not ultra. theres always somehing wrong when i use DX10. its a fail.

True, but the graphics card produces roughly 90% of the FPS in 3d rendering  Cheesy

At least one of those pictures is rote artifacting of the image, not the map. The others may well be bugs in the map. (The artifacting is the one with odd stretched textures across the ground that appear to flash a bit when you move the camera).
