its pretty easy to figure out where the v1 will drop. It's usually on things that are sitting still or a bunch of units that are just too close to each other. I think i've only been hit by a v1 directly maybe twice one was pathing the other stupidity.

Tbh I wish I had picked firestorm instead of v1.

Firestorm will also kill a howitzer, but it can actually hit blobs of infantry unlike the V1.

Its not like you get to v1 repairing tanks all that often, so firestorm is much better IMO.

You can roughly guess where the V1 is dropping by the audio file "Incoming, get the hell down" being played if the V1 is dropped on one of your units.

There have been so many things that survive these monsters, even though it's a direct hit.

Pinned units also seem to survive direct v1 shots for some crazy reason :/.

Pinned units are harder to hit, that's why i guess.

Pinned units get an incoming accuracy reduction. That causes the same thing to happen with V1s and 280mm barrages as <1.5 sherman smoke did.

It makes sense, too. Units hugging the ground are going to be hit less, by both bullets and shrapnel. It only doesn't make sense when the V1 lands on top of some guy, or withthe 280mm barrage on anywhere but the absolute edge of it.

I bought V1 to counter allies op arty and now it cost me 50 pp to unlock [i have unlock it before] cos i tought it was good to have one free and another use of that.

Now i spend 50pps for V1 and for every one use of V1 i have to pay 2pps extra.... This is laugh....

How can i get my PPs back?


btw. why u fixing Axis "over powerness" so fast and takes ages to fix Allies?

Yeah it's pretty balls and unfair you gotta pay for a use when everyone else is gets 1 free. As far as i know thats just a mistake and should be fixed next update

It's impossible, because people now are spamming rangers, look at leaderboard. But it doesn't change fact, that in game are 22 howitzers and now after changes we will see more callies and priests

Fire at Howitzer -> Decrewed Howitzer -> move. Rinse, repeat until your opponent is out of infantry.

Back on topic..

V1 should have 1 free use at least.. and have them pay for a 2nd use if they want it...

i have the tier 2 ART, we get 1 free use then have to pay 4sp to get a 2nd... should be the same


iam at the point where i dont even field a Howi as soon as somebody knows its there.. game over, especially with the higher ranked axis players i tend to play against, i have had 4 instant owned by firestorms and v1s, 2 of them didnt even get the shoot lol.

every time u take out howitzer or any other elite unlocked priest, tiger, pershing. U have to know fact that u can lose it...

So please Devs put it into way that it was before...

u have to be very lucky to hit one rocket straight at howizer [if its close to your position ofc] and recrew it... I havent seen stuff like that, ppl tend to nebel infantry and at guns, cos is waste of time shoting at howitzer...
