Rather than give BARs to AB, why not make all allied infantry paradroppable instead with the Airborne T4 doctrine? Will encourage a whole new dimension of gameplay.

Way ahead of you, we've already made some substantial changes to a lot of the doctrines, especially the higher tiers. So expect to see those documented soon

Not particularly useful, and only there for the 'cool' factor - what makes airborne good is not how they enter the field, but their high HP per man, and fire-up. Along with one of the best manpack AT sources in the game.
I'd rather go for implementing the M1A3 carbine - automatic version of their standard carbine, rather than the BARs, but it would give the weapon to every soldier using the M1A1 version of the carbine. A 1-1.5 second 5-6 ROF burst with 10 percent lower damage and accuracy at all ranges compared to the standard carbine. 1.5-2 second cooldown, 3 bursts per clip, standard reload. Should be fun, original to the airborne, and not OP, as it would be rather inferior to the BAR, and without suppresion fire. It would also buff rifles by a very small ammount - the leader uses a Carbine.

I was thinking the concept of an entire para-droppable force allows you to set up ANYWHERE on the map, executing a flank ANYTIME when needed.

Good luck paradropping straight on a mobile tank with a 30 second drop timer. No, it is not useful, in the least.

And yet, 10 seconds is a timescale in which a tank is very likely to move, and the tank user will definately notice the green smoke to gtfo from the sticky. Even more fun if it's a puma/ostwind... You're just better off paradropping an RR - a proper airborne company will not have stickies in it anyways.
It's not at all useful, or even considerable as a T4. Paradropping rangers could be fun, but still, meh.

MY plan for AB was to get the Support teams the Early drop and the 10 second fall. That way i could deploy earlier in R mode and actually have time to setup a delay with support weapons before the other guy hit the field. With the changes we're looking at it really makes me have to choose.
