Inf T3s

We have 1 T3 that makes rifles more accurate in cover, and 1 T3 that gives them more health. Will both of these transfer over when they pick up support weapons? I assume the health thing would, I wasn't so sure the accuracy would.

The health would since it's tied to the entity, but the accuracy is tied to the weapon hardpoint which will be null if they pickup an atg, mortar, hmg.

Short Fuses is in progress and American Officer is in progress. Don't know if either will make the next hotfix to be honest.

Question: What the is the final HP for a vet 3 riflesquad if you have cohesion, allied grit and 4 squads on the field? How is it added ?
Basic HP: 55.
x 1.10 for vet
x 1.15 for allied grit
x 1.48 for 4 cohesion rifle squads on the field (24 guys times 2%)
This will land the rifle squad somewhere in the vicinity of Panther/Sherman HP. If the multipliers stack, cohesion will be very good. If they don't, it makes rifle veterancy and allied grit pointless with cohesion as a t4. Oh the things I can do with such rifles, it will be marvelous.

We haven't worked out the final details on Cohesion. It's quite possible it won't stack with Allied Grit.

Thanks, if it doesnt I am not gonna get it. You will still have problems against companies who have decent anti inf vehicles and ways to deal with at guns.

Lolz. You don't think a 650hp rifleman squad is too much? But you're right. If cohesion doesn't stack with allied grit, there's no point in getting Allied Grit.

Nah, I dont think it would have been completely insane. Me and Elitegrenadier spent the better half hour of the afternoon today discussing this. It's a T4 after all, and its in the infantry doctrine.
A long barrels StuH will still one shot the rifles in the above example, snipers will still gib them, a unupgraded zeal grenadier squad with medikit will beat a unupgraded riflesquad even with all those health bonuses. Defensive grens will also put up a huge fight against them.
Supression will still put them down and kiting vehicles cant be killed by stickies alone. My opinion is also coloured by the current survability of rifles, which are a plain joke against almost any targets

Cohesion was in original EIR too, no one took that instead of tank reapers or arty expertise.
Tougher riflemen is nice, but their usual counters still rape them.

Yeah I realize that their counters still rape them, but the current status of rifles just makes me long after infantry-doctrine rifles giving grenadiers, schirms and stormies a uppercut to the face if used right. I am fairly sure a non-doctrinal P4 without vet won't 1 shot the rifles with the stacked health rifles I am outlining here, making the triage even better and just basically making me <3<3<3 my rifles again.
Rifles are the most rewarding infantry in the game to micro perfectly, imo. Popping medkits and sitting defensively in cover or sneaking around with metal penises on your back (storms) just isn't as badass as a three directional, four-dimensional american flank with nades and flamers coming from all directions against the bunker-loving germans.
I am personally not even slightly worried about pumas or tanks screwing up my rifle's day, as the increased health will give me more time to make decision instead of getting instantly destroyed. 57MMs will keep my rifles safe from tanks and zooks will make AC's and Pumas stfu.
just my 5€

i dont think it's really that much different than these axis doctrines.
Defensive Division
Fatherland Defense (All units gain 20% HP)
terror
German Steel (Tanks, KT excluded, have 25% more health, 15% less received penetration)
Heavy Support (HMGs, mortars, snipers, ATGs have 25% more range, health & sight)
and thats for all axis units, who already have more health than their allied counter-parts
and pio's at vet 3 would be increasibly awesome with fatherland defense + For the Fatherland
Pioneers (2.0)
-Vet1 Received damage 0.85
-Vet2 Accuracy 1.15, Received Accuracy 0.9, Health 1.2
-Vet3 Health 1.1, Cover ability*, Damage 1.2
god i'd hate to see those coming...

cohesion was always one of the weakest t4s inf eir for infantry for the reasons smokaz says.
health doesn't keep them on the field in the majority of instances they will run into, it helps them win unupgraded and pure attrition fights only.

This version of cohesion is actually stronger than the old EIR one (as it includes weapon teams)
