Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Is Akranadas in this thread? Fucker can't stop bragging about his "waifu taldeer" and cosplaying in an eldar farseer costume while shouting "Flithy monkeighs!" interspaced with random eldar gibberish.

Meh BF series have had their moment. Forgotten Hope 2 in Europe is still gonna be awesome though.
And I'd love to see a remake of BF: Vietnam, great atmosphere with the music Tongue

Well thats not real life,

Todays combat is not thot like that, you rarely see Tank vs Tank combat today.

Maybe in Large cities or close combat.

But todays war is frighted from the commanders Computer screen to GPS aimed missiles and Planes.

Sounds like Baine have just enter 3rd grade and gonna join the Malta army.
Dude I been there, I have learned how it works.

Real life battles between 2 "strong" Nations (not Sudan war)
Do not fight in battles 100 tanks 1200 inf and 100 air plains attack a other army target with 100 tanks and 1200 inf.
You keep the death count low. This is not WW2 any more where you attack enemies at eye range (Note Close combat like in Afghanistan are not in this part, there you fight the enemy att piss and shit range.)

Airplanes and Arty do 90% of the job, the Tanks and INF do more Clean up jobs and keep the "taken" land Secure.

I would love to play this game tho, Still its not real life battle due in Real life battle you dont go Tank vs Tank in a 500vs500 tank inf battle
You blow all targets before moving in close.

Its easy and smart.
Many of todays war you just hit important targets like: Electricity, Rail roads, Roads, Communication, fuel and logistic supply.
Its not like "oooh lets attack Norway, to win we need to kill 40:000 inf and 2000 tanks" due thats what they have.
Maybe 20% or 10% of the inf die and around 70% of the tanks get destroyed (tanks are high ranked target if a counter still fights)

But you might win just after killing only 5% of the inf and 20% of tanks and airplanes.
You just focus to stop the country to work and function, and you win.

Sorry no 20000 man vs 50000 man inf battle, nop not gonna happen in a long time (or nearest world war 4)

If thats a sarc comment then ok but if its not then you don't know anything about this game. That is on easy mode where you get a cross hair and other stuff. Put on vet mode and its a hell alot different. The AI will see/hear/shoot you first before you even can react.

Iv played OFP/ARMA/ARMA2 and they are the most realistic and heavy fighting intense games iv played. The graphics r stunning and the gameplay is brilliant.

Its not like BF where you can get shot and keep on running like you havnt been hit.(You get shot in leg you wont be able to run/walk. Get shot in the arm and you won't shoot straight). Also its not like COD where you can RNG someone cos if you try it ur a dead man.

But this game isnt real life as such. It is ment for fun and for people who enjoy realism and large scale battles.

Everyone knows how it works nowadays, you seem to think you have more knowledge than the rest of us.

The question from Draken("ARMA 2 or real life?") was just a reference to the graphic, because it looks pretty real, not because he thinks that it's real that 100 jets, 1000 tanks, 20000 infantry meet in a small field to battle it out.

+1
I agree. The only thing I miss is the aiding part.
The "good" part of wars is ading.
Because we don't start a war because we are angry or need oil, we do it because we whana free a county or aid them. (this dose not apply to U.S.A.)

I know Baine Smiley

I just whana add to the 12 year old EiR players and say: This is not the real "war"
In a real war you are awake one minute the other minute some plane have blown you up.

or One minute you contuery is attacked, communications have beaked one month later you hear the the counter you fight for have given up.

Armor show of is only to show power

Standard op procedure for the US is something like: Launch enormous air strike to cripple infrastructure, continuous air support through campaign, tons of CAS giving cover to a large wave of mobile tanks and mechanized infantry to taking and holding respectively.
