I got them and I fail to understand... why they are supposed to be good?
Well their throw range seems longer, damage much lower than pineapple... and "special" stun lasts for 1-2 seconds which is quite useless... duration to small and stunned enemies can still shoot only they movement is hammpered.

So why should I buy 40 mun grenades as T2 abbility? Maybe there is hidden trick or bonus to them?

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

You have to sacrifice a T3 for Assault nades, and pay the 50-75 munitions ontop for each squad.

Regardless of how good assault nades are in comparison, the concussion nade doesn't stand very well on its own. Whats the point of this grenade, what are you supposed to accomplish by it?

We probably need to review this upgrade's price.
It's useful against support weapons and assault infantry imo. Just not worth its current price when real grenades are cheaper.

If they don't do damage, make it like an assault ability for rangers except does not break suppression.

4-6 guys raining stun on you while the rifles bypass your cover and HMG could be nice.

That doesn't fit in at all. If you want to create a reason for anyone to use stun grenades, make them cheaper than normal grenades, give them a 4 supression and no damage dealt (so you'd need to have overpowered numbers to immediatly take advantage of a squad being stunned because of supression damage resistance)
