The main reason I play the axis is because I love all the symbolism around them. For example, I'm a big fan of the Iron Cross as a symbol (even went as far as using Black Templars when I failed at making a Space Marine Tabletop army for Warhammer 40k)
Also, I'm a bigger fan of the Axis Tanks, They simply looked more badass then the US/Brit tanks. And obviously, They were MOSTLY better then the Allied Tanks.
So yeah, Not really a valid reason really for using Axis, But I just love using them.
Also, Volks are have some of the most EPIC quotes in a game, and sometimes they make me laugh by the things they say at the PERFECT moments

you can do that aswell as axis, and even easier with lmg, shrek blob. But flanking is always more effecient, it doesn't matter what faction, and I dont get how someone can get owned by rifle blob, as wehr...

You can afford max to 8 rifle squads if you have 40 pop. 1 stuh/ostwind + 2mgs (wow 14 pop) could own this, it's not vcoh rifle spam is not so awesome in EiR without that t4 buff on rifles.

8 rifle squads, each with bazookas and nades = 1520 MP 720 MU, 8/14 Avail. used.
19 percent MP, 36 percent MU, 57 percent avail used. Overall percental usage 56 percent.
2 MGs = 540 MP 80 MU, 2/4 Avail. used.
1 Ostwind = 400 MP 175 FU 1/4 Avail. used.
940 MP, 80 MU 175 FU total.
12.5 percent MP, 4 percent MU, 14 percent FU, 37.5 percent avail used. Overall percentage usage 17 percent.
So overall, I would believe that an ostwind and 2 MGs are shitloads more likely to be found at any point of the game on the battlefield than 8 rifle squads, not even taking into account the severe popcap disrepancy.

Quite a few things wrong with EIR can be viewed in the launcher about now, when the most dedicated players waited around for the patch. Once again, not sure how to fix it.
It'll probably disappear in thirty minutes or so, when the more casual players come back on. Or when the dedicated actually log in to their allied accounts. But I don't think this symptom is going to go away very easily.

The state of balance is that axis are retadedly OP at the minute and it doesnt look like its going to change any time soon. A large chunk of the core allied players have already left Eir (myself included) "on an indefinite break", so I wonder how things are going to play out from now on.

Allies and axis have the same fuel. So I always laugh when one side accuses the other of spamming tanks.
And that was a 4v4. Of course there is going to be a ton of tanks.

ya, like a sherman is equal to a kt, not even 3 shermans, and when you can only field 1 or 2 shermans at a time its not balanced.

My armor company shermans eat panthers and tigers for breakfast, although I haven't gone up against a KT yet. It should be even easier considering an overdrive sherman can easilly outrun the tracking of a KT. The only things that scare my shermans are dual shrek storms and heat rounds P4s.
And you guys had way more pop than us due to defending, so you should have been able to field many more tanks.

Maybe you would come up against one if you would stop stacking and nub stomping all the time

Thats pretty hilarious, considering I've been playing with 2 hour old newbies with all my accounts, including people who doesn't even know how to setup a company.
Ah duck, it must suck to be you, being wrong every, single, time.

Even with the old T2 buffs a vet 3 upgunned sherman would barely win versus a panther. Considering you can get 2 paks with that panther, if your enemy fields 2 shermans... Yeah, I think you're just full of hot air gamesguy.

Go ask smokaz what he thinks about my shermans raping his panther.
And your scenario is the height of theorycrafting. Who in their right mind will have a panther and two paks? Are they going to throw rocks at infantry?
