The M2 howitzer and the 25pdr needs a buff.
You should be able to move them on the battlefield or something.
Cause when they are on the same position they are so easily taken out.

I don't know how I feel about this, honestly.  I can at least understand people wanting buffs for it, but personally I don't really like the direction the game takes when everything becomes a massive arty-fest.

On one hand, anything short of a V1 or direct assault with shreks or tanks seldom destroys the gun, which inevitably ends up getting recrewed for a cooldown reset.  On the other hand it is frustrating to have a signature unit of the doctrine to be neutered so easily by a single offmap.

I guess the truth is that most Axis players don't have V1s or sufficient arty to take it out without a direct assault.  Just sometimes it feels like they do.

I've had very good arty games, and very bad ones.  I often consider that it is barely worth the pop to field it...  kind of depends on what map you're playing on, who you are playing, what doctrines they have, who you are playing with.

When I play against them, they do create this sense of urgency that if you let it linger all game long that it will make you pay.  And often direct assaults end up coming with a high cost when they are properly looked after.

If I were pressed to give a definitive answer, I'd say leave them as is, maybe the HP on the gun itself could stand a slight increase, but anything else, even that, not really necessary.

ermm... all whermatch doctrines have off maps now, and since you can't move it, its endurance is next to 0% compared to like any other arty unit.

Yeah but the only offmap I've seen that reliably destroys the gun itself is the V1.  Everything else frequently only decrews it, which in essence usually does the Howie-player a favor by resetting its' cooldown.

Maybe I haven't seen enough precision strikes / firestorms / rocket artillery to reliably say that.

I'm not 100% sure about the damage of the precision strike but all other off maps kill it like 99% of times, I stopped using howies after 2 weeks when most of people got their off maps, they're useless now, they aren't cheap, they're good only against supp teams, and they have no endurance, and they're also a t1.

Basically the only artty worth using right now is nebs and stukas.

Sitting artillery is easily killed by offmaps and stormtroopers, hummel is killed by commandoes airborne and any light vehicle, the priest and calliope by stormtroopers which are in abundance right now.

The funny thing is that it's next to useless against the PE and it only works against whermatch support team spammers that will likely have off maps to take it out lolz, while a nebel is unlocked to all axis doctrines, is mobile, it works against infantry/support team spammers alike, it's effective against brits/amis and it's also cheaper than the howie haha.

wouldn't be hard to do and you can have it move at the speed of an at-gun .

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
