To address the topic at hand though, I have to disagree. Volks are the weakest infantry Wher has, the fact that you listed re-crewing as part of their many "capabilities" almost had me falling out of my chair. If you made the faust much more expensive, no one would buy them, they are more of a deterrent then anything, I think most allied have just not adjusted to volks having any AT on them at all since almost no one bought the faust before the changes.

Lastly the rant is unnecessary and doesn't help your cause.

They are the weakest but they sure as hell is effective. I bought fausts at 65 munis in old EiR when munitions was so much lower. So I disagree with you. I instagibbed shermans with 4 fausts back then and they were 1 use as well with shorter range.

This game is going to hell so fast, its actually funny.

The rant can be ignored if you like.

Please take this as a warning to any such comments now and in the future towards any nationality.

In my opinion 50 munition is a fair price for faust.
Riflemens zooks cost 50 munition and always miss their target.
The faust always hit target but have a cooldown.

Don't compare bazooka, which hasn't cooldown and limited uses to panzerfaust. Now fausts haven't super imba crits so I don't see any problem with them. I'm wondering when people will rant about magnetic nades.

I was fairly sure fausts could miss, just had a high accuracy, is this not the case?

The only times fausts will miss is against jeeps, and vehicles/tanks in vehicle cover.

I know Smokaz is not american and is european. I'm just referencing a similarity with a stereotype of certain specific group of people who like to talk a lot even when they have nothing to add to the discussion at hand.

I think people start going out and try using volks w/ fausts enmass and see its effectiveness. People give it too little credit for its cost effectiveness.

For instance, 14 volks w/ fausts (which are 2 uses) is only 420 munitions. That means that at any point in time on the field, u got something which can beat back tanks when coupled with a pak/schreck. At 6 pp total, it isn't hard at all.

....
dude. just pay you 80 mun, chase a vehicle for 5 seconds and be useless already.

i always vouched for 80 munitions infinite stickys or 40 mun for 3 because they always bug out and you use the uses without ever throwing one. at least fausts hit infantry.

Maybe don't rush your tanks at volks?  I didn't even know ppl used fausts anymore, I sure don't, muni can be much better spent on other abilities.

Well the first step we took in the Faust issue was bringing down their price to make them more attractive and maybe we'd see people using them. Didn't work.

But then we all decided that the Faust needed a bigger perk since the dual shreck was taken away from all initial companies.. ie: We increased it's damage output and gave it a chance to critically damage things. So that Wehr would have something for disabling their enemy as all other factions did.

The thing we may have overlooked during all these changes is that we initially reduced the price. Which people are in fact correct, we may have to revisit Faust pricing.

I'm American, I am going to comment.

Seriously? Volks with fausts are op? You do know they only do 125 damage now, meaninig it takes 5 to kill a sherman. Maybe try NOT charging into 5 squads of volks with your tank on Overdrive trying to run them over?

And if Volks are op, cleary rifles are too, I mean they have more health per squad, they can get stickies that almost always critical, they get BARs that are an "I win" button in any fight that SF is up for and still give great damage when its not, AND they can get the nuclear pineapple.

Obviously OP.

OH yea, Fausts are only good as a quick surprise. Without the crit you really need either a TON, or you need backup AT.

With backup AT they are actually worse than Stickies, as with Stickies you can prevent the circling/running over of your primary AT asset. With fausts you can hope they are scared enough to stay away.

one problem with fuast is that they cant to actualy kill a tank, they can get it down to 5% hp but after that it just disables (not related to 5% HP bug) the fuast can not kill tanks even light vehicles.

tested with KCH and volks on sherman who had his tracks disabled and on staghound with less than 10% health , these where conducted over multiple games. i would recomend a test game to conferm this.

wow, i didnt know that.
No wonder i couldnt get any tank kills w/ my Falls using fausts lol. They would just continue to destroy the engine and main gun.
