Currently this is a joke, you throw one of them perfectly on top of a say, a vet 2 tommie squad and there's no casualties and a tiny bit of HP reduced. In vcoh the grenadier nade is balanced on the fact that it requires no specific fuel-based upgrade like the pineapple, here americans dont pay extra for their "grenade tech" yet their grenade is freaking awesome while the grenadier nade is the laughing stock of the whole community.
Most Grenades punish micro mistakes and absentmindedness (not moving away), yet there is almost zero penalty for swallowing a grenadier grenade and a guaranteed swift squad retreat if a PE or wehr squad swallows a commando/rifle/ab nade.
I think the grenadier nade should either go down to 15 munitions, or receive a medium buff against tommy armor type (like 25% more damage) and a slight increase against elite armor rangers/airborne (like 15%). Right now you feel hustled, swindled and left with your pants down if you buy grenadier nades.

agree the gren nade is pretty much caca. I can lose a man or two to a nuclear pineapple or tommie rifles nades even with vet. On the other hand axis nades which deal with bigger squads do jack shit.

Smokaz's showing a good point about the Fuel upgrade in VCoH.
Grenadier Grenade can be thrown farer but it deals little damage so i is like throwing a tommy riflenade on it (I remember that Tommy Riflenade and Gren nade has same Damage).
Increasing damage per Armor type might work and so with Dropping Price. Who would waste 25 mun for 2 use firework that might blow a thomb off from a riflemen's hand? Price decreasing leads to it being spammed though...and even if it takes so little HP when spammed it takes more of it.
Decreasing its Price?
Increasing its damage and dropping its throw range?
Doing what Smokaz suggested with Damage buff per Armor type?

It's more situational than the US nade in that it is better to throw it when the enemy has lower HP.

I only use the nade on my one squad, but even two nades won't kill an mg. I just use em to piss off suppressed squads.

The gren nade is awesome, and you gain 3 uses with the T1, tbfh.
It's 2 uses for 25 mun.

Have you tried to throw a Gren 'nade at tommys? They take it to the face like its a walmart firecracker.

I have, countless times, and I loved every single throw. Even at vet 3 brens in a trench - ooh was that a fine nade.

its "awesome" hardly constitutes a argument
it plain sucks compared to the american grenade which if you read the OP mysthalin, doesn't make sense.

So then, KCH and Blitz Units ignoring mines/damage is gonna get "fixed" too... because Axis units don't take anywhere near as much damage as Allies from mines!
Right not, grenades are what give rifles the chance to even stand up to grens or above, and even then, it's situational, and based on the fact you can survive a burst from an LMG or assault rifle long enough to throw it.
Pineapples work best with bar support, I hardly ever use them unless the target is already pinned or inside a building.

The don't ignore them, they just have more HP per men, so although their health gets hurt they are less likely to lose a man, this thread has nothing to do with mines.

Honestly, the wehr is already OP in it's current itteration, and the post is just another piece of proof of the wehr player's not being able to handle even one of their units/upgrades being at least slightly underpar when compared to the rest of their horribly OP galore. Nerf the LMG42, then they'll apreciate the grenade, is my suggestion.
The grenadier nade costs less, the grenadier has access to better upgrades, the grenadier is much more rape on it's own than a rifle squad - it has way more chance to get it's nades off than a rifle squad does. And no - saying that the nuclear pineapple in vCoH is more powerful because you have to tech up to it is wrong - as you have to get to T2 and build a kriegs barracks to get the StiehlHandGranate.

Thats so wrong, so so wrong.
You dont build the T2 to get Grenades, you get them for FREE because they are crap while the amis build their barracks aswell, but still have to get a fuel expensive upgrade to make their grenades accessable.
And how would nerfing the LMG help making the grenadier grenade less crappier, cause I'd love to hear your logic here.
