That is assuming you continue playing higher level accounts.

Are you implying that the community is so large that every single game features sides made up entirely of players made up of the same rank level?
Give me a break.

Not like 3 lvl 8s vs 3 lvl 1s happens all that often either...

I didn't have any problems getting games playing vs rank 7-8s all the time when I was building up my brits, at least.

We'll actually be implementing a 3xp bonus or so given to all your units after a victory eventually.
And that is going to be quite significant as it will go a long way in making it easier to vet up your company.

Hooray, more PPs spent into SPs, meaning your company has just become even HARDER to develop doctrinally.
Simply awesome idea -.-

My heart goes out to all those with insane W/L ratios who are experiencing this pain. I'm sure the rest of the community shares my sympathy. It is obvious that the lack of PP is hindering your ability to continue to win games and power level your companies to completion.  Roll Eyes

Seriously my smart ass comment aside, are you seriously complaining about hitting rank 8 too fast and not having a good amount of PPs because you won an overwhelming majority of your games?

Maybe they should just reduce the bonus XP you get for winning, that way you'll max out your PP choices for each rank before moving along, but that would totally bork everyone's need for instant gratification wouldn't it...

Honestly I don't like ranking up a company either, mainly because I want to try almost all of the choices. I wish you could just pick all your advantages and doctrines and have vet be your reward and do something else with rank that recognizes players for the number of games they've played and won, smaller yet still tangible rewards.

I don't completely disagree with you, but I'm against most systems that are mainly aimed to help those who are already succeeding, do so even more, it's a slippery slope.

Well, just don't buy the SP then!  Wait until your doctrine is finished!

We'll also likely be reworking newbie advantages so that newbies actually progress a lot faster on both PPs and XPs. This way they'll be catching up to the majority of the player base a lot faster when joining later in the war or when only playing casually.

It's not the fact we don't get any bonuses for winning.
It's the fact we are PUNISHED for winning the vast majority of our games. Why on earth should I get a longer grind towards finaly unlocking a unit, resource advantage, or doctrinal ability, just because I'm good at the game and am winning games with an unfinished company? Something doesn't smell right to me. I'm not asking for extra benefits, or extra PPs, I'm asking for EQUAL PPs for those who actualy manage to win with their under-developped accounts.

would mean tying PP's to # of games played instead of level.

Having the bonus for level 8 teams would mean gaining xp faster (winning) would reward you sooner.

I am in favour of adding something like this rather than rewarding people who are purposely losing/abusing the system.

Look I'm just playing devils advocate here. I don't like the grind at all, weather you're good and waiting for PPs, or not so good and waiting on XP it sucks either way tbfh.

The alternate is giving everybody everything at the start, and we just remove the 'persistant' part from the mod description Wink

Well whats really persistent about the xp? You can only hit rank 8 and that doesn't take very long. The only thing persistent is the PP and vet really and even then eventually you just have a bunch of PPs lying around after a while.

I can agree with Jaz's sentiments here somewhat though, an important thing to factor in battalion growth is that the "haves" cannot inherently pull too far ahead of the "hjave nots".  Remember that the "have nots" still have to grind their way up against the more advanced players.

Its about the progression for your company.  Theres the additional part thats missing, the WarMap - which would have made the war over by now, and reset coming in.

What about giving the winning team some SP's? This helps even out the issue of winning games causing you to gain less overall PP's as you go faster towards level 8 since you get extra SP's to pay for veterancy.

Incentive to win - and - equalizer for winning causing less pp gain - right there.

I know its frustrating for the Devs to read some ideas spawned out of the fact that the mod is incomplete, but its small easy fixes that are being proposed most of the time regarding launcher gameplay/totality of player exchanges/fairness of the persistance etc aka and so on.

Free SP's = incentive to spam offmaps without a real downside...I think unit XP is the best idea so far...

SP and Unit Xp rewards equate to a similar issue.

But youre correct, Free SP's does give offmap spam, which is why it wont happen (except as a Commander advantage)
