1/5 out of the last games involving either my luft PE (g43 spam) or my heat round blitz against mudkip, have been victories. That means that the other 4 have been losses. In fact, almost all the losses the entire last two-three weeks, althought very low in number in total can be attributed to mudkip in some combo with either mysthalin or in this most recent  unknown, or some other accomplice. I am almost, humbled by this.

Since it would be out of character to aknowledge some other player's genuine skill, I am going to assume that he cheats, or that his company is particulary needy in the counters you must deploy against it.  Angry

At any rate, his company is a monster somehow, and its getting tedious to take these losses.  Its a given that my americans are way better than my wehrmacht and thousand times better than my PE, but I see it coming now and I am still unable to stop it. So I appeal to all the pro-axis or wehr-lovers what kind of nasty... what is needed to lay down the law against mudkipz spam? Its usually not a problem that the other player has more doctrinal stuff than you, more pps and offmaps, but mudkipz just keep foiling me.

While doing this I am still working on the terror company which I think will be his doom, but input on this matter is appreciated.

Honestly I've watched many of the replays he's posted and he really uses those airborne extremely well, and is super aggressive with them at times doing things with mostly dead squads that most folks can't get away with even with full health ones.

I won't comment about what to counter him with as I really haven't studied his company that much, but merely his game play. What I do notice from a lot of axis players though is once the MG's are gone and they get low on tanks or are simply overwhelmed by the allied AT (which happens more and more often it seems) it's generally good game. I'm not sure what it is, but a lot of axis seem to be weak on the anti infantry and rely on their tanks to take care of it. I personally don't like KCH due to price and their cheap counters (flame pios anyone?), they just seem like a waste.

For some reason I see less LMG squads running around, and haven't seen any double LMG (is it even possible to get them anymore?... I don't think those doctrines are in yet, sadly).

I read your thread which seems to indicate an infantry heavy company, I've personally been trying to utilize mine better as I don't micro anti infantry, infantry  as well as I should (I'm better microing support weapons, tanks and AT carrying infantry) I'm just not happy with MP40 volks or KCH, don't even get me started on gren grenades. That generally leaves me with MG42 and LMG Grens. Perhaps I'll try the volks again but MP40s seem expensive for what they do compared to the other weapons, not to mention you have to get in close which is what most allied infantry is good at.

Basically, the Airbrone doctrine allows you to buff Airborne to the point where any other infantry is useless in your army.  Thats why he gets 9.  Its the same as Fall squads when youve got the T3 and T4s for them, except these guys are AT.

smokaz as PE against a massive airborne company? i do not need to watch the replay to say it is hopeless....

that is the most broken engagement in this mod...PE vs Airborne

they dont even need to start playing they can write right after start GG

I only have one vet 3 unit in my entire company.  I charge my manz over the corpses of their fallen brethren, piled 6 foot high, until victory has been accomplished and this does not leave room for a highly vetted army. 

The range buff on AB is nice but it doesn't compare to a Vet 3 P4 with Improved Barrels as you can see in this replay, the only thing holding us back was these pwning machines from hell.  The axis have a bad start but salvage it during the mid-game with Blitz P4's until they finally run out of stuff. 

Smokaz is probably a better player than me, so I've been enjoying the opportunity to hammer him as many times as I can until he comes up with the right counters to this company.

You dont know who will win until the very last minute.

Axis players had like 3 times the xp than allied players did, but allied kinda outplayed them.

Mukip let his soldiers fight to the very last drop of blood, its either do or die.

And i think the background doctrine buffs kinda decided this battle.

Just saw the replay.

Yeah the opening was tough to watch, it was as if you didn't realize who you were playing against or just weren't communicating at all to coordinate a proper attack. Way too aggressive and not enough coordination to back it up.

It was kinda rocky from there, although you do manage to get enough minor victories here and there to finally push back near the middle of the game, and it really looked like the tide was gonna change.

How many vet 3 P4's does blitzOP have? I thought you did pretty good Smokaz, you certainly play PE better then just about anyone I've seen play them in this mod, and certainly seemed to have TONS of infantry, which helped immensely to keep up with the allies in this battle.

It really felt like the allies communicated, or at least coordinated,better and at times it was like they were baiting you to be over agressive, sometimes you guys took the bait, sometimes you didn't. BlitzOP's company looks like hell to deal with (those P4's are a bitch) for most companies, unfortunately you were up against what is likely the best airborne company in the mod right now, and a good infantry ally in unknown to back him up with even more AT.

I probably sound overly critical, it certainly was a good game, but it felt like the allies were playing a passive aggressive game and some of the axis attacks seemed a bit forced rather then coordinated. You guys were doing well when you picked and choose your points of attack together, but then it seemed like you'd each try to play your own game and paid for being over aggressive.

Anyways, just my 2c, I'm sure you'll figure something out.

alot allied players and even axis players as well fail at having throwaway units. My american build consist of all but my 4 rangers and AT guns as throwaway. They help achieve break thrus and reman a lot of the decrewed weapons left by axis players. The only units i value are my rangers/flamers but they achieve a lot usually when i bring em in to sweep any axis infantry minus falls. I feel allies excel more at having units just to dump into the grinder and achieving better results. Attrition is always allies best friend.
