Please, please!  You're making Mal think his isn't awesome.

You don't want to make Mal mad.  There are.....complications.  Cry

i ment the colors are much brighter instead of the old more grey look. it feels more  realistic and looks better

Leo I'm not gonna lie to you in any way here: the only difference between those two models is that on the new one, the strappings that hold the grenades are now tan instead of olive drab, and it has a unit patch on its shoulder (1st infantry). That's it. Nothing else changed. The only perceived differences you are seeing are because of the lighting in that screenshot versus the complete lack of lighting in the other one. They are the same model with different colored straps and a unit patch.

Mals pack looks pretty good and isn't over the top with color.....

Thank you for your support. I hope you continue to enjoy the skins I have assembled.

We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.

Oh, you don't want the unit patch? Why would you prefer un-unit-ed riflemen?

Thank you for your confidence in the majority of my selections.

exept the sniper one,

I'm working on that. You would not believe the kind of trouble I've had finding a good sniper.

and the KT one,

I sorta like the KT we have now, though I am up for suggestions if you'd prefer another. The current paintscheme was, I believe, the re-painted one that the allies captured in Normandy, so it isn't totally realistic.

and the commando with their grey hat ones....

Alright, this one confuses me. The commandos don't have grey hats in my skinpack. Screenshot?

It would be awesome if you could find the helmets for the commandos like the ones in the first PE campaign mission...

I have, but I'm having trouble getting an older version of the skin. The latest version is disallowed for use in other skinpacks by the owner, but an older version isn't, so I have to go find it.

Because one day he googles "skinpack" and runs across "Mal's Skinpack, now with stolen British Paratrooper!" ?

TAAAAADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!

nvm about commando hat, i guess it was the weather...

my conclusion is i dont want to waste my time telling every single unit i like and i dont like, but you shouldt be afraid using some of the standard skins. most of them are allright.

took me 30 ppfarming games to get 14 vet 3 rifles and all atleast 80xp. But with carbines and 6 of them walking around in a blob, was fun insta gibbing everything.

That is a special captain. However, you will may be pleasantly surprised to note that I keep forgetting to remove the Kilted Tommy Section replacement for the Canadian Tommy Section. So if you go RCA, you get some Royal Scots Engineers. Whenever they finally decide to implement "Canadian" tommy sections.

*snip pictures*

First up, I wasn't aware that the Pershing was available in feldgrau!  Cheesy

Secondly, while you are right and many of the original skins are pretty good, they don't fit necessarily the realistic cohesive unit theme I put into my skinpacks. For instance, using the regular ol' solid green plastic army man pershing isn't terrible, but it just does not fit in with the new skins for the vehicles, so to keep a proper theme, I usually replace as many of the units as I can with appropriate units. For instance, you will note that on the whole, the Panzer Elite has a green/white/brown camo scheme, while the Wehrmacht has a green/brown (primarily) camo scheme. Most US and British vehicles are brown, some are a bit green, to match the fairly uniform camo patterns that they realistically had.

I made these skinpacks originally just because I was so bored with the Germans being "lolgray", and it sort of spiralled into realistic camo patterns and units from there.

As to the rifleman, it's a bit more tan uniformly than green and white which is somewhat more accurate, though I can understand if you don't dig it. I'll look into new riflemen skins for the next pack if you'd like?

Akranadas weren't you making non-historical modern camo pattern skins like digital pattern sherman?
