MAP makers I guess I'm talking to Duckordie, leo-phone, kolath and AMPM here The mod moves closer and closer to the warmap and with that there will be a need for yet again more maps. Back in TLS 2 days there was some discussion and pre work done on some potential map design drawing on the inspiration of the great ww2 game close combat. The game was top down and i still play it from time to time, the great thing is allot of the images for those maps are available. SO what im asking is that our map making community pitch in and make some of these maps for the community I aware your all making your own projects but i think it would be a brilliant project that would inject allot more from the map making side. The layout is already there, the height-mapping should be self evident and further they are all historical maps from the period. Their names are not really necessary right now but i will ensure that they get play time and feedback and will look to play all of them myself. If this project gets off the ground i hope all map makers will join in then this will add another 10 maps to the community ever growing map choice. The numbers of players on the maps is up to the mappers i guess, but then again the map layouts probably restrict them there.
Hope for a good mix of 2v2 - 3v3 and 4v4s.

No 1 is not church its the eastern Urals duck there are some different options available and i would hope you maybe look at doing this one closer to scale for a 3v3

I'll hit up 9 if i can get my WB working.
Actually can someone help me get an approximate size of this map untill i get my fixes on. .. i got my fixes on.. that was quick..
Ok. Calculated the map #9 will have a playable area of 314x314 approximately. Im guessing a bit of a small 3v3. will need some feedback on good 3v3 square map sizes.

Those images look great, I hope the map makers do them justice (I'm sure they will).
It also helps that these map designs exist in another game, as while that game inevitably plays out differently, it means there is a map balance the has been achieved prior to building it for CoH, and hopefully, they won't need to go through as many incarnations before they're in the final stage.
I'm not sure number 1 IS church, but it wouldn't hurt to have a few maps of a similar design. To be honest I like similarity between maps, just not carbon copies.

nr 1 was the pic in Church, just some changed (likes hedges)
if you look at the map is quite unbalanced (the pic 1) so made some changes and it become Church
