Why do all three of my engs die in a horrendous explosion at 40-50% health? I don't too often see flame pios, but is there a greater chance this happens engs than to pios? I mean engs are weak enough as it is, does there really need to be a chance for the whole squad to die at 40% health?

Yes it's the downside of flamers, they already can be a pain in the arse, this gives hope Wink

Leave it as it is.

I'm honestly not sure why this occurs, it seems to be an EiR specific bug.

We are serious about enforcing this, and I am sure you all want to be able to have your balance thought considered by the development team with some biased, sensationalist coming into your thread and ruining it.

does it occur more on engs or pios is my question? or does it have to do with the health of the squad members?

why do you instively have to say "Hey my eng do this, if pios dont do that they must be nerfed"
getting sick of that mentallity
why cant you say that your engineers are bugged at 40% and leave it at that?

If im wrong in my perseption im sorry.

in any case Engineers with flames are much more reliable than Pios, focus fire on Pios is much more devestating than on engineers and with the amount of Squad members allies have compared to > Germans and petroluem covered Pzgrens and lets not forget Recon tommies and Snipers kill half the squad and can take out the flamer in 1 hit. they are fine so no nerfs! lol.

The Epic Crit table allows for both engineers and Pios to have a small chance to burst into flames at low health.  It's more likely for engineers because up to 3 of them can be at low health, while pios have 2 men that can go low health.

Its just a risk you have to take.  Looks awesome every time however.

i wasn't asking for a nerf demon, I was just asking if it happened more to one or the other, I just don't see many flame pios being used, but I use flame engs some what regular. I just don't like seeing a full 3 man squad die at 40% health instantly, you don't even see the health go down they just straight up die. I should of saved the replay. Also you can't be careful with them, flame engs is a unit that if it survives after doing it's job you're surprised, at least that's how I use them haha.

It does look pretty sweet and if you blow up close enough to an enemy they do take fire damage haha.

my engineers always seem to burst in a series of flames and pios are just awesome with flamers and blitz...its just a bit unfair at times unless you have a tank around.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
