T1 - 10% sight bonus
T3 - scopes - 10% accuracy and sight to grenadiers and volks
T4 - Omniscience - 40% sight bonus to all units

Does the sight bonus stack for grenadiers and volksgrenadiers?

If it doesn't then the T3 and especially the T1 is sort of wasted PP if one goes for omniscience. Anyone can shed light on this matter?

if it stacks, how much extra can you see?  As far as the Shermans could when they were bugged awhile back?  Farther than scouting jeeps from armor doc?

Assuming it stacks its 35*1.1*1.1*1.4=59 sight radius for grenadiers/volks.

Assuming the 10% sight tier 1 applies to all units its 54 sight for other units.

85 sight for bikes(lol), 69 sight for paks.

Bikes normally have 55 sight, paks 45, and other units 35.

That tier 4 is scary.

That tier 4 is scary.

And best of all no one knows it's running.

And of cuz since no direct combat advantage most people won't take it either!

Omniscience has always been probably one of the better T4s in the game, but only in the hands of a player that utilises it well. It's not a very popular T4 though, and I don't think it's 'overpowered'. (Although we probably should have a way to notify the opponents that someone has omniscience)

Wait...so does anyone know whether those 3 abilities stack the sight range or not?

Letting people know about omniscience...either a broadcast message or an 'eye' buff icon on every unit?

Why should we notify the enemy?

Do you see that a Pershing has AP rounds on it before he shoots? Do you see that someone has improved barrel before he shoots? Do you see that blabla... you get it.

So no, it's not an offensive ability so why would you "warn" anyone.

Advanced Warning only affects infantry, and Scopes only affects Volks/Grens. AW, Scopes, and Omni stacks, but it's nothing to worry about; Volks/Grens with all three have 59 sight, while Bikes with just Omni have 77.
And any competent Def player with Omni is going to have a bike on the field at all times, which makes AW/Scopes largely irrelevant.

omni is amazing, I <3 the omni company i ran in old eir. bike with an 88 and the 88 could never be sneaked up on. bike with my mortar + officer was awesome, you never get counter mortared, and you ALWAYS know where the enemy is, so he can't flank it. plus you always know where he is so you can always hit him good =)

One of the best T4s if you use it right.
