heres an idea to make 1v1s much more fun:

youll actually control the units of 2 players at the same time by having double the popcap.
you still have the same battalion, so games wont take so long(= good i think)
playing 1v1s will be much harder since you have to control double the units(=more challenge)
you can play on all the 2v2 maps.

and there are surely much more good thinks about it.
lets play some more 1v1s!

Double the popcap and play on 2v2 maps would be quite anoying, little much to handle for one player.

But what I think should be good is making the popcap a little higher on 1v1 because the 1v1 maps is to wide. That or making more EIRR 1v1 maps. Right now the winner of 1v1 is the one who can backcap the most.

Want to make 1vs1 more fun? make 1vs1 maps then, we don't even have one 1vs1 map made for EIRR.

lol I would love to be able to play 2v1 with 2x batalion size and 2x pop, and don't rely on my teammate.

Anyway even if we will have maps for 1v1, EiR:R doesn't really suport 1v1s, that's also because it's easy to abuse, 2 players can feed up eachother with vet and pps.

EIRR, "does" support 1vs1s now, you get pps and 1/4 of all XP gained IIRC.

I said does but not really, read my posts more carefull next time.
Noone wants to play 1v1, I always hear "it's worthless, no pps no xp"

And some of the relic 1v1 maps could be good for EiR they just need sector rebalance.

I have been playing quite a lot of 1vs1 lately and you get about 9PPs... that's more than enough for a short game.
