I think the problem is the barrage is very concentrated but the new scatter effect makes the arty not hit anything most of the time.

This doesn't seem to be a problem with firestorm, rocket arty, earthshaker etc.

So the 105 offmap just need less scatter or a more dispersed drop pattern.

I don't think so. This being still a beta i think it would inappropriate to refund people based on erroneous judgment n their part. We are here to test things and its a privilege, EIRRmod would be endlessly refunding if he sets a precedent for it every time he changes anything.

Its unfortunate, and i feel for you,i have made some mistakes myself, but i think your gonna have to just live with it.

Edit: I think it would affect rocket artillery a lot, its already very dispersed, making it hard to hit your intended target, it just got worse. Same for the Scorched earth ability.

None of that ~Das

at least let me deselect it..   its no where worth what it was before, not sure if you have used the US off map, it at least before landed in the general area, both times i used it last game it landed way off in la la land, just doing a fireworks show, that wasnt what happened with the few axis offmaps i got hit by, there where spot on, unsure what tier or what they were, but the US one isnt worth the pp or sp needed.

I think there should be some kind of system allowing for unchoosing doctrine abillities.

Not a refund, because that would be lame, but perhaps a system where you have to pay the full value of the abillity again just to unselect it, and then you have to pay the full value of whatever abillity you want to replace it with on top. I think that would be a good system, and would provide incentive for rank 8 maxed out battalions to keep playing with the same company so that they could try new combinations.

of course i'm comparing it to axis... both t2's, both got nerfed pretty hard with the drift because of the way they work...except that the precision strike is 1 shot and now it comes down in an approximate range instead of on top of the target. no way in hell is it worth a t2.

I don't really think he is comparing it so much as saying its effected by the same thing..

It's an interesting test, I have an idea on how we can 'fix' the issue that I will be proposing to eirrmod though...

Deselecting selections has been on the cards for a LONG while now - I just have so many other things that take priority.

It'll get in there, I just cant promise a time sorry ;p

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

I do see a way of abuse if you give full refund on doctrine selections.
If I select a Tiger, then go buy a Tiger in my battalion, then deselect it and choose another T3.
I effectively get 3 T3's.
(This worked in vEiR too, except you got no refunds on de-selections)

It wouldn't work like that again, trust us; we're not stupid. If you de-select a doctrine ability that unlocks a unit/upgrade, it will be removed from your company due to the requirement missing.

It can be done manually but if we start doing it for a few people soon everyone will want it done.
