we all know the feeling. yay i can buy my Tier? and now how will i get the pps for everything else.

I think its the gap between xp and pp. if you win/lose 50% you get 25% more xp than pp. that usually means at level 5 you hit a your screwed button since all T2 is 150pp and all T3 is 150pp. also by making all pp adjustable based on rank lvl 8s also face a grind. Maybe is every rank belows 8 got a free 2pp per game. that would in the end give somewhere around 60-100 more once you get up the ranks and help remove a lot of the grind.

It was definitely more interesting when people where able to run more kinds of companies, it allowed for easier side switching and less stacking on a single side by the same persons.

If someone were to bring up that they think EIRR needs more pps per game, I would definitely support it.

Even double xp/pp would still be much better than the current slow grind, imo. The mod is still in the testing/developing stage, anyways, right?

I would say get the same PP but everything should be cheaper, if you just doubled PP offmaps and unit spam would be more common.

isn't that what happens in the end anyways?  Once everyone gets their precious lvl 8 companies, they can spam offmaps and their choice units all they want since they have nothing else to spend PP on...

Anyway, can I have a T4 that gives a designated sticky bomber to every rifle squad, that can also throw his stickies into the face of any enemy infantry guy. He would throw them on 10 second intervals, with 35 range and 85 percent accuracy ^^, at 50 extra MP cost to the rifle squad.

I think the issue atm lies with the Linear gain / loss depending on your opponent.

Like, Play someone 5 ranks higher WOOT!  Double!
Plays someone 5 ranks lower... half.


eek.

They can be tweaked so taht the gain has a 'flatter' incline.

I once made a mod where you could throw stickies at soldiers, it was hilarious to see a poor soldier with a 5 second timer on him and no chance of survival.

Once one of your accounts if lvl 8 all of them should be, shit boring when your lvl 8 in one and want to play another but have to grind it again. Or atleast wehr lvl 8 gives pe lvl and us lvl 8 gives brit lvl 8 and the other way.

nah two your idea is too drastic.

If we get all 4 factions on one account and we give xp and pp to all 4 then it would be cool but each faction has its own win/loss. while doable this is a big sql/other code overhaul

I think the flat rate of PPs you can gain per game should be raised. You should never be able to make any less then say, 7 or 10 PP instead of the current 5PP only.

It would be cool if you gained PP for all factions, that way everyone could experiment with each faction as they please, and not feel like they are neglecting a certain account.


Or how about this crazy idea.

Make a level 9 and a level 10. Each level is only 100XP to get.
At level 9 you get the other faction on your side unlocked with 500PP, so if you were US, you get a brit account unlocked with 500PP, if you were PE you get a wher account unlocked.
Once you get to level 10 you get both factions on the other side unlocked both with 500 PPs to spend. This way you work your way through one faction, and as a result get to play around with all the other factions.

While nice ideas you just copied mine of +2pp per game for the first bit.

As for level 9 and 10, that just means when you get 900XP on your account you go bother a dev to give you another account.

Similarly here; every player gets 4 accounts; the main account does the grind, the other 3 gain PPs at a reduced rate so you don't need to grind so much once you get it. But don't think you can pull it off with need to sync names with relic online.

I think thats a nice idea misten!

When I eventually get around to tying all profiles under one forum, I'll do something similar.

That way, you 'grind' one account, but you dont have to do so for all the others.
In fact, a similar game (Dark ages of Camelot) did the same.
