Looks like we've got a lot of missing vet tables. The US Officer, Terror Officer, Flammen, Vets and FSJ TB's are all "brand new." but pretty much copies of the original FSJ's.

I have not much to say so discuss...it seems all infantry are pretty uniform at all vet levels with different stuff thrown in there from time to time. I'm kinda stumped as to any needed changes, anyone have any ideas?

I think health regen was always a Wehrmacht thing since the Americans have triage centers and AB medic teams.  That leaves armor as the only doctrine without healing, but you won't be running infantry heavy armor companies anyway.

As for PE, I really don't think the healing scout car should be doctrine specific, and I heard that some devs are trying to get it back into being universal for all doctrines.

Arrg I just read grenadier Vet2.

-15% damage taken outclasses all other Vet 2's
volks get an extra faust, rifles have their sticky range increased to something feasible, maybe replace it with 1/2 free grenade uses or increased nade accuracy/range?

Oh, never knew that.  Despite the Brit's health regen, I still feel that triage centers and AB medic teams are enough healing for the Americans, and when/if the healing scout car become non-doctrine specific, that should be enough for the PE.

Maybe you should calm your fanboism and look closer. Tommies have the same.

Health regen wouldnt be that helpful for rifles unless you had cohesion. Its useful for grenadiers since they have so much health + other stuff that gives them passive health regen.

Will it be toned down enough that its worthless to buy so we spend all our SP on offmap and advantage spam?

Yea dont tone it down, it doesn't need to be toned down tbh. Because vet is good, it makes you choose between vet or off-maps, this way you can have a bunch of off maps and no vet, or no off maps or vanilla of maps and a  lot of vet.

Yes tymathee, because a vet 3 sherman having more health than a panther is normal, so is a vet 3 P4 becoming a tiger with more accuracy and less splash.

So is a vet 3 grenadier army, and a vet 3 tommy army ;P.

Actually Myst, the Sherman only has like 60 less HP than a Panther to start....

106, not 60 ;P.

But 831 health on a sherman with vet 2, with 15 percent more accuracy, 20 percent more penetration and 105 damage per shot at vet 3 it's kind of silly ;P.

Doctrine buffs, and that vet 3 sherman with upgun can beat a panther... Don't think that should ever happen, without the use of AP rounds.

Really?  Which doctrine buffs would help it beat a panther?

Eh, now compare vet 3 Sherman vs Vet 3 Panther with HEAT and Improved Barrels.

Can we stay on topic please? We're talking about infantry here not about shermans and panthers. Toned down and changed are two totally different things. And btw, how many people get to a vet 3 sherman anyway, they just die too easily. There's only 5 and there's just as many vet 1 shermans that no one wants to move to vet 2 as there are vet 3 shermans.

i think he wanted to say that vet units are to good compared to non vet units, not that vet units arent balanced against each other

but actually i think vet has some downsides too
you retreat earlier or loose it and to loose vet annoys people and they rage and play much more worse

so strong vet might be ok
