Ok gents, they claim gimmick company on shapshooter, he does have a lot of StuH42, no more so then their wave after wave of carbine riffles tbh.  So gimmick for gimmick?  donno.

Great matchup, great 2v2... really hard fought on both sides, I'm really surprised how things came out.  Carbines are a BITCH to fight.

Just want to say GG to the allies.  I'm sure you would beat us 9/10 times, just nice to see the underdog have his day.

And I promise, while we knew who we were joining, we did not create any build to counter you, nor did we know what your companies were until we were getting our asses handed to us by rifles Smiley

Cheers.

my favorite thing is when someone complains about someone else running a gimmick company when they themselves spam a certain unit ^_^

"Gimmicks" are part of the meta game now.  Can't watch the replay, but if BigDick and Aloha were beaten by a lot of Stuhs then their carbine companies were obviously lacking enough AT.

Edit: As AMPM puts it, gimmicks are whatever the accuser's company lacks the appropriate counters for.

6 ATGs from 2 players that usually play together?  Heh, I have 5 in my carbine company alone.

1. that game was fail
2. 2 infantry company players against 7 stuh gimmick company
3. the second player came more than one minute to late because he was on desktop
4. aloha has stickis but sticky against stuhs=fail
5. i have 4 at guns and aloha 5 = 9 and not 6 we had some stuff left (we could maybe had won that but we were to annoyed by such a company so we didn't got out all units/retreated my stuff)
6. very bad play from allies this time no coordination at all after some raging about this "special" company that would be so dead against armor players
7. when we ask for a rematch sharpshooter disappeared

so again rematch plz

He said he still had ATGs left.  I think they're great players, but everyone has their off games once in a while.

There was more than enough AT to go around even to handle this 7 stuh company. How is 7 stuhs that much more gimmicky than say, 4-5 p4s?

Aloha needs to explore the idea of spreading out his rifles. He sends a large part of every pair of rifle straight in a line to the battlefield, throws a few nades and then retreats them at 3 guys.

Creep up on the edge of the map, seek out the flanks. Position rifles to be ready to rush the nebelwerfer or hit the stuhs from the sides, either to make them turn. And steal the paks. Some people refuse to recrew stuff with vet 3 stuff, but as long as you have guys remaining to retreat theres no issue.

Grab a sniper.. bad companies imo.
