There must be someway to make precision strike more usefull, it fails to hit anything with the drift now, a waste of 4 SP
Either lower the 2nd use to 2SP and add a 3rd use to 4SP. Or scrap the drift on the precision strike.

Discuss yea

call it drift strike, since its obviously not precise...T1
or revert it back to its previous "precise" strike...
or two shells instead of one shell...

Yea we could possibly change it to another strike, its a T2.

and the old cookie of it used to be used agasint support teams, because thats all it was good for, any other artillery is used in that fashion anyways, except it atleast hits rather than SP down the drain hitting nothing.

yeah the smoke plus the warning, its really easy to dodge, it wasn't too super hard to dodge in the past either, i don't think it needs any drift, and this is coming from an allied player.

Well while I agree in the respect of the naming etc, and it wasn't ever a major thing to deal with if you caught the smoke straight away.

Keep it's uses and it's SP cost the same, half the current minimal drift that was added with the across the board change to arty. Should be fine.

Lastly, most other arty has worse drift, and longer call down timers, so the point about throwing SP into the air is pretty moot. imo.

Nope, Its perfect, Its balenced the way it is.

Mine hits where i want it to general area, It wil dmg and scare but Blitz should not have ANY arty.  This is a gift.

Its perfect the way it is.

You have to wait untill an at gun is setting up or in combat then it will take longer to movfe and it will at least get de-crewed 80% of the time.

I agree with that drift makes a lot of the offmaps useless (wish it would affect that annoying stun mine thing being dropped on stationary units and wtfpwning them though), such as the 105 howitzer offmap.

But precision, which I used to be worried about and aggitated on how too effective it was at nuking say my 105s in a blink of an eye, now I don't even bother dodging because its only a single strike that generally misses now *shrug* Not very precise for precision, right? ^^

Remove the drift, and make it useful.

Last percision strike wasnt too hard to dodge in the first place.

That prolly be OP, becuase you cant dodge that, prolly dodge that only 30% of the time, but a earthshaker precision strike just seems waay OP, Thoughts?

I suggested this about a month ago, converting this into a JU-87 Stuka dive bomber strike. It would have 2 explosions, and a warning sound but no smoke. That way it could have some drift, but it would still have a warning like a V1 so at most you'd only lose 1 squad if you de-blob yourself. It would also take finesse to hit anything, because you wouldn't know which way the enemy would move.

Currently it's so fail it's not even effective against bunkers. It has so little splash damage, that if it's a meter off, you don't even scratch a medic bunker or what have you, and if it hits directly on top of it it doesn't even halfway destroy it. It's definitely not worth T2/50PP or 4sp for each use. I've only ever been able to use it to scare a buttoning tommy squad, and now with drift I can't even do that. They're willing to risk it because of the virtually impossible odds that it will break the button.

You do realise that the earth-shaker round does less damage per shot than a 105 howitzer round?

It's hard to believe; I've seen it take out a PIV in one shot (PIV was at about 300HP)

You all need this changed like some one who is obese needs a 2nd mouth and no asshole.

Its perfect the way it is.  You need to learn how to use it.... Its really simple.

BLIZ  is not suppose to have ANY arty.  It souldnt...  Yet we get 1 round.. Perfect the way it is.

It has enough drift to be semi effective, AND JUST LITTLE ENOUGH THAT if placed properly will get an AT gun, MG or the Mortar team when needed.

I wish i got like an option for 3-4 to buy up, but hey, 2 is better then none.

Precision strike is a gift, IF its changed, it should be removed.

What do you mean placed properly? You click it on the at gun and it gets pwned. Btw Precision strike still works, its just not 100%. Puddin uses it to great effect to annihiliate a 57mm before he goes in there, learn from him. It's not a ability targeting to attrition as it doesnt completely destroy the gun, its something you pop against a guy with only 1-2 57mms before you move in a lot of tanks. I move my 57mm sometimes before the flare and it still hits me, so random can be helpfull.

btw does anyone share the sneaking suspicion that drift always drifts to the left? or the right?
