Hi firstly i'd like to take a bit of time to say balance is excellent in the game, about 80-90% there i'd say.  I think over the past 8 months of balancing or so the game is almost at a state where every team has an equal chance to win.  The only problems with balance here on will probably be about certain doctrines and doctrine abilities, almost all standard units are perfectly balanced. 

So, thanks devs and moderators for listening to this forum, and also thanks for actively participating in these discussions as well.  Also the balance team will be able to smooth things out even more which is a great idea.

I must say the same!

The only thing I am a bit grumpy about is all the officers running around casting spells and the spam of some units, but otherwise it is really OK Smiley

theres all things that are still yet to be balanced, but you've gotta remember playing the mod when you started, and compare that to how it is now.

i could also add Staghound price to the 'to balance' list but again this thread's more for thanking the devs.

Ye, It have changed alot. And more doctrine choices means more balance issues to keep in check.

On map range and allied light armor accuracy while moving needs a look at, other than that its not bad.

i dunno about that. Stags are pretty useless when there's any type of none infantry based at around. Any type of tank will rape it. T17's are a different story but can be beaten easily by schrecks in cover and paks. or any type of tank after its used its stun.

I have to agree that this game is a lot more balanced than before.
the only few things i know of that they need to hammer out:
-zeal + ferocity + IA on schrek grens
-light vehicle raping  handheld at (kiting schreks is understandable) and flanking at guns after dodging all the shots.
-ridiculous dodge bonus on airborne.
-Terror officer spam gay galore (according to misten, I honestly don't give a damn)

Past that everything else is awesome.
I like this playing this mod and I like eating sushi, so when both are combined I am very satisfied.
I appreciate the devs for their hard work.

2 lgiht vehicles is 16 pop.... 1 at gun is 4... I say using 2 to run past is valid, have a 2nd backign ti up at a slight diostence and wow... light vehicles get raped...

Right puddin, Nothing wrong with the terror officer 150 munitions... If he gets nerfed then the American officer should be 150 munitions too or the TO should be dropped ^^

BTW, you say light vehicles get raped yet you have like around 3 vet 3 T17s. Obviously they don't get raped if you baby them, then again nothing gets raped if you baby it.

i had 4 T-17s,had i am down to 2. 

Look, they are fast units, that and move around on roads, i use the roads effectivly and donl't get into fights i can;t win, Much like my ostwinds. 

They have some good range, but ar pak magnets, and shreks in cover destroy them usually.

They staghoudns with the 50 cals i find to be more effective at killing

Hey thanks spinn + everyone,

Its good to get a thread like this every once in a while to even out the whining Wink

We've been a bit quiet lately - patch wise, we have a few things brewing that will really need a lot of balancing before we implement them.  (Doctrine choice method in particular)

It will be another large change, which we'll need to watch for a while, and tweak largely.

So, after that, we'll be left balancing the abilities themselves, how Battle Advantages work (Training etc) and we'll be pretty much done with 007.
