Unlike blitz assault nades, these things totally block retreat on units. They even cancel retreat if they get hit by them during retreat and cant move for a while.

Yah its broken. Slow effects on infantry or stun effects should cease to work once retreat is active.

The only balanced part of the concussion nade's effect is the convict rage of pak88 whenever this is applied to his grens.

They might slow retreat but AFAIK it does not break it.

It does, after losing around 5~ vet 3 squads due to it I decided to report. :p
You can smash the T key or hit retreat all you want, it just wont happen.
The next time it happens ill post the replay also.

It does stop retreat, I extensively used concussion with my rangers/rifles.  Now is that intended?  I don't know, but I can verify that say the axis have an MG in a house and he exits it and hits retreat.  I throw a concussion nade at the door and hit the whole squad, it can't move until the stun effect wears up, giving me time to close the distance and kill with SMGs or mass BAR/rifle fire.

When a squad is under the stun effect it cant do anything. You can also stun a retreating unit. The only thing is you have to stun the entire squad or 1 guy will get away. Stun grenades also have like twice the range of normal grenades.

Also on top of that, stun nades don't 'lead' their targets like regular grenades, they are a point and where you click is where it throws, unlike blitz assault nades going several miles long like those volks used to be on an American football team and all of them were quarterbacks, no matter which why they zig and zag even if say they were aimed at my rangers who were fired-up!

Assaults nades can do the same thing and slow leaves your units in danger the whole time allowing them to get hit. Hey, if you can hit someone with a stun nade while he's retreating, kudos to you, they're straight point n click and its very hard to hit anything, you just gotta hope you get close.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Just to recapitulate.

Concussion nades cancels retreat, unlike assault nades that just slow down the units but do not completely prevent them from retreating?
Concussion nades do not follow units like other nades do.

Anything else I'm missing?

Thats it roflmao.
And tym, assault stun nades only let your crawl for a short time and then your guys get back up and retreat normally. Concussion nades make you TOTALLY unable to retreat. Was probably because they were taken out of the ToV campaign, and never designed to be used in multiplayer matches.

Okie dokie, thanks EliteGren.

Bug logged, thread closed.

In case any of you are wondering why I instantly close threads after logging the bugs:
It serves as a flag. When I see a locked thread here I know it is a bug that has been fixed or already logged. If I didn't lock these threads, people would respond to old threads which would then bump them up to the top and make it a lot harder for me to recognize which bugs are new.
