PLayed a game, We got beaten badly, SO i bring out a VEt 2 M-10 to get maybe a few infantry kills, IT gets 2-3 they bring up soem panthers i am backing away, They drop a supply drop to block my M-10.....

Thats called griefing in My book and Exploitation of a noob advantage,m BY players who are no Noobs.

IF iw ould have lost the M-10 to the panther, Not a big deal My fault, Losing it because they dropped a supply drop, Needs to be rectified, Not putting up with that Bullshit from players who know better.

The only real fix to something like this is potentially a delay on the airdrop rather then being instantaneous.

My sincerest apologies puddin.

I just reveiewed the replay, and in my frantic panther micro I must've clicked the button for the drop then clicked the map, cause where the supply drop smoke dropped, I was clicking attack move for my panther.

Really sry man, I had no intention of griefing you at all.

i always wondered if other people knew about this. calling a parachute unit down on another unit prevents the unit below from moving.  More useful in vcoh tbh but with supply drops (no timer) it was its applications in EIR.

Also, I lost a game due to not enough anti-infantry units, so airborne get double damage at each vet level.

More changes to come.

Honestly you need to let this go. He already said it was not on purpose, and he didn't even know that the supply drop could block tanks. And I really have no sympathy for your tank blowing up, as the only "good" that could come of your push is to vethunt my infantry.

Tbh, its just incredible timing, because when the smoke came down, your M10 was on the other side of the forest.

It was just horrible bad luck that the crates dropped onto your moving tank.

I dont know how you can plan something like that...

you can with supply drop. like like a 1/237525235474834 event. Like walking through a wall...its possible, just not very likely.

Damn that's pretty awesome, if someone is good enough to time that right they deserve to kill your tank

Also I wish you would stop smurfing Louis, its hard to keep track

I am sorry but the chances of someone successfully blocking a tank with a supply drop is so small.  This is the first time Ive even heard of it happening.

No need to fix something that isnt broke.  I was already explained it was an accident.  Let it go, will probably never happen to you again as the chances of it are so low.

ina  narrow pathway, with a tank backign up to spawn, and not much else where to go trying to fend off a panther... A pretty fuckign easy block..

Especially since when it comes down...  Form the moment it spawns on the map it blocks you....

i don't think the problem is the supply drop but it is that we have ppl in here who are there to grief others.. who think it is fun..

its end game and a panther was at my spawn un vetted, hell yes i will come kill it, take the vet and leave.  Like most anyone does in eirr.  IF you leave it near spawns expect o be dismantled.

true, but also most people are fine with the general ideas that if you bring it on the field, its fair game.

INdeed, By getting killed by units or off maps or anything else in game.  A noob advantage given to a very experienced player, abusing game mechanics, is not a ay to die, its a way to abuse game mechanics not in their original design or intent.

And that is the definition of what?
