honestly i feel the order of vet 3 units are

1. tigers, panthers , pershings, kts, jagd, fireflys

2. nebels, howies, priests, hummels.

after that its all up in the air honestly to me. Those are units that at vet 3 are simply devasting and game changing. artillery imo benefits greatly with cooldown deduction making it extremely more potent and allowing you to constantly bombard any enemy defences without taking any losses. if i baby any unit now its usually my nebel and thats it.

Exactly.

There is only so many times you can slaughter Lt Apollo, Rocksitter, and Alwaysloseguy24 before you get bored and fall asleep.

quite true with the arty. i have a vet 3 nebel and a vet 3 stuka, both with ready rounds and large rockets. being able to keep them far behind lines and getting all the cool down reductions makes them quite devistating.

Vet 2 riflemen benefit from vet too. Greatly increases american AT capability with reliable stickies. Hence as Axis nowadays I will prioritise hunting down those demonic baseball pitchers!

Vet 3 snipers with a bit of devils luck can be hell on earth too, hans because he shoots so damn fast and the american one because he does it from such great distance, double vet 3 storms can cause intense pain for allied armor etc.

And a vet 3 GS KT.. say hello to mama. You might as well attack it with a rusty spoon.

Vet is gained back in just a couple games so chances are you will have to face it again.

Maybe it varies for each player, but in the long run of the games I play I reliably gain or retain nothing other than infantry vet. Support weapons will be gibbed by the type of fire they take even when used correctly. Theres a reason for why people usually have either high tank vet or high infantry vet, having to keep an eye on a frail vet 3 puma and a bunch of vet 3 volks or some vet 3 engies on one part of the map and a vet 3 qujad on the other is just too scary. <3 my puma

Theres also veterancy that increases the use of abilities like grenades or fireup/smoke that downright improves the performance of the unit and the resources of your company.

Except that my vet 3 terror grenadiers can do stuff thats extremely handy, like beating off a vet 3 ranger squad witout taking any losses, sit in cover and not take damage at all from attackers.

how that should work being powerful terror grens without losses? zeal kicks in when you have at least 2 losses.....but to charge lmgs like lmg grens or brens in cover is stupid anyways....

the one who do that deserves to loose horrible

but to the replay

good job killing stalins firefly  Cheesy

Not vs a IST that is locked down. They can toss the sticky, but how many runs away alive after doing so? Considering that there is no obstacles around. I've seen some fool do such a trick

I wasn't referring to zeal only, ask lionel how his super ranger assault army has played out versus my terror company. There's more to terror than zeal, the improved medikits are just as good.

That is, if the enemy player is petty enough to actually care about his veterancy enough to rage quit.
