The Axis hordes of grens fight that gorilla tactics of the Americans. Hit em hard and pull back! The brits on the other hand fight non stop on the right outnumbered/outgunned and pummeled by artillery. But what happens when modified mg42s that fire shreks just don't happen to penetrate too often.

Fun game worth a watch.

And thus, against the innumerable foe, outgunned and outnumbered, nearly overhwhelmed, living from moment to moment, fighting only for the man next to them... did the brave tommies try to hold their ground.

They would never know just what they had done to piss the gerry off so much, but they felt his anger.

And though they were a small battalion, underequipped and without great prestige or renown, and though their enemy was many, and made the skies rain with all manner of destruction,  the brave soldiers of the commonwealth would not forfeit their position without a fight.

They would hold the line, and if the line crumbled, then they would just have to bloody well take it right back thank you very much.

ps. Just ignore my staghound in the bottom right. It's not that I forgot to take it off, honestly, but more that its "protecting" my entry point... for half the game.

Indeed.  Although he meant because his company is low level and all 5 others are lvl 8s.

There were a lot of lucky hits here.  A couple of times infantry halftracks exploded without any survivors, another time 2 squads popped out w/ 2 men each and got 1 shotted(HOORAY, 2 shreks for vet3 AB vs 2xPE).  But anyways, pretty fun game.

Well I meant more because my army was trying desperately to hold that forward sector to break the pop cap score in our favour, and there were a few points in the game when it seemed the full might of your axis team seemed to be bearing down upon my side to drive me from it completely.  Im pretty sure if it werent for a critical calliope barrage on several occasions, that would have happened.
