you need like 4-5 gigs to install it even if its only 26 mb (it extracs coh files to patch them). So remeber to put it on partition with some space, or you will get error.

If your COH downloads and installs the patch itself thats cool, if not then download externally from that link.

ok, i downloaded and installed the patch via coh. but when i installed it, i got error:
An error occurred while patching the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\WW2\Archives\OFCoreSpeechEnglish.sga". The patch may be corrupt or the file may be different from the version the patch was created for. If you cannot reslove this problem, please contact THQ technical support. (Error code 10104)
i thought this was the wrong thing with the patch, so i used the link here. same story.
so i guess its becouse im using the german sounds for the axis army....

STEAM's a bitch, but a good bitch who I like, wut. Sadly it appears that CoH is the *only* STEAM game that cannot use retail patch exe's aswell as the automatic update-system by STEAM.

Are you fucking kidding me? Pretty much what the other steam-gimps-r-us are reporting, 27 mb patch that fixes mining outside vehicle production facilities and makes Coh easier to mod turns into a FULL redownload for steam users. Came home from the library at 7 PM, now its 10 pm here. Been downloading at 300-500 kbs for 3 hours, still at 61%.  *shaking like a crack whore |

I am a CoH addict who has managed to keep it off my computer for the last 6 months.
Today I gave in, buying it from Steam so that I wouldn't lose any more money, when I inevitably quit and throw the game in the trash. (I have bought about five copies over the years.)
I was dribbling like a junkie knowing his hit was finally coming.
THEN THIS HAPPENS!!
