hey ground,

skinpack is awesome, and i've been using it forever, but with this new one i followed your directions, and i got the missing rgd boxes on the commando units.

thanks

What is your art settings set to? High or low, this kinda thing usually happens when someone has "low" selected b/c most of my skins are HD.

Also, try to replace the EIRRdata.sga with a new one and see if you get the same blue boxes.

0.7.9a might have very well fucked up my skin pack.

Just use the externalskinpack.sga for right now. ill post back here if i get the eirrdata.sga working again.

edit- Yep, new patch has skins for the terror ambulance. Ill put up a new eirrdata.sga tomorrow. until then just use the one that the autoupdater gives you.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Full_version uploaded to first post. Hopefuly I got all the bugs out of it.

If you see any unit that is obnoxiously pink, let me know

Also, remember this is an HD skin pack. If your art setting is set to "low" some of the skins might not work.

Thanks guys!

you just need to put my skin pack into your EIRR archives. it should overwrite any previous skinpacks you may have in there.

Dont forget to make a copy of your origonal europeinruinsdata.sga

the new skinpack i posted has 2 files, they work in conjunction to provide you with all the skins.

the Europeinruinsdata.sga has the files that control riflemen, commandos, fallschirmjagers, panzerpioneers, reward vehicles, etc.

pretty much any unit that has been modified to take additional weapons that they would normally not have in vCoH are stored here, so you need this .sga file to modify them b/c it takes president over the externalskinpack.sga.

It will still work fine without the EIRRdata.sga, only you'll be missing these skins.

Ok, i downloaded and extracted both files into the Archives folder of EiR.

But when i started the launcher, it found that 1 file needed to be updated, and in fact it downloaded and updated the Europeinruinsdata.sga file, thus replacing the file from the skinpack.  Huh

Is that normal ? Maybe i did something wrong ?

Advise please.

groundfire said that that would happen.

use this: C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\EIRRLauncher\EIRRLauncher.exe

Could you explain a bit more what you mean by "use this" ?  Huh

Thanks in advance  Smiley

Oh you mean to change the target properties for the launcher's shortcut from this:

"C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\AutoUpdater.exe"

to this:

"C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\EIRRLauncher\EIRRLauncher.exe"

so that it won't overwrite the skinpack file, correct ?

But if i do so, how will i be able to see if there are updates released ? Wont this cause problems ?

You make a shortcut from the EIRRLauncher.exe to your desktop and use it. When there are updates released you use the autoupdater.
