anyone shed some light on what the new doct's will be like?
also, the current company everyone is using, will this in the near future we totally wiped? i would like to know so i could start organizing it to match what doct choices will be had..

Yeah of course, that's like saying US Armor no longer get pershings! M1 carbines and bazooka riflemen were a core 'feature' of US infantry, so rest assured that hasn't changed much. What is mainly happening is finally adding all the lower tier abilities and balancing their power/usefulness, a lot to look forward to!

what about Rangers, can we get these guys more useful... i would like to have a couple thompson only guys, a couple of zook only guys, and then some with just nades, no zooks or thompsons... anyway to get this restriction of putting zooks on them?

uhhhh, i was being serious on usage of a unit, not being forced to have to use zooks... give us a option, zooks, thomps or nades... the way it is now its horrible expensive to use them...

Thompsons suck on Rangers. If you lose a man in your Thompson squad then you lose 1/4 firepower. 140 munitions for 4 Thompsons is a waste. Here's a solution: just use Rangers for handheld AT and use riflemen with BARs for AI. BARs cost 80 munitions and they get SF.
I think they've tried 6 man Thompson squads in the past and it hasn't worked out well.

Basically if you remove zooks from rangers and have them either use thompsons or zooks then rangers become overpowered because they with just thompsons, the squad gets 4 SMGs and the last 2 guys have garands.
The garands die first instead of thompsons, giving the rangers a buffer before they start losing firepower. If they have zooks at the same time then thompson rangers die before the zooks do, so they begin to lose firepower from the first man down.
We used to have rangers how you want them, mgallum. It was changed because rangers were broken like that.

Why can't we be innovative and make an "assault ranger" unit like we've done with Airborne and Airborne rifles. Then the cost can be tweaked accordingly for a 6 man with 4 thompson ranger squad.

Or you could make "Add Thompsons and remove Bazookas" a slightly more pricey upgrade. So if upgrading Thompsons is 140 munitions, make adding Thompsons and removing zooks like 170 muntions or something.

I don't get why rangers with 6 men and 4 thompsons would ever be OP in the current build - I mean, an LMG squad would still rape it shitless, as would a ton of other things.. This seems like a very false fear of something that used to be OP like 2 years ago. Jeep-spam was OP 2 years ago, are any axis players cowering in fear when they see jeeps?
