Areas that need improvement (Summary):
1.  Too Bright / Shiny on the map - Makes it hard to see; Suggest switching to a darker terrain palette
2.  Unable to distinguish sectors while in minimap mode
3.  Timed 'crash' or desync bug on map?

I think lionel already mentioned them.

check your gama settings for COH they might be to high. i honestly dont have that problem thats why i really dont want to mess with the lighting. there should be no reason why i can view it fine and other people heve a problem. regarding the grass, actually i dont think i used any grass, they are twigs.  Smiley

you want us to put our graphics on low just to play this map? there is just one simple slide in atmosphere settings that change the amount of bloom.

edit: also look at other winter maps, those dont really have problems brightness.

I don't think the crash/desync was a map based issue. The other 2 points aren't really bugs :p

Well if you can't distinguish sector lines or look at the map at all without hurting your eyes, I would call that a significant flaw then that will turn an otherwise good map into a map that will never be played.  I really want more maps and this looks good, just it's way too bright.  Why not host a poll then if you don't believe the map is too bright? I'll get my teammates to post in this thread but it'll just be redundant info again.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Played it today in a 4v4. Was fine. Really enjoyed the map.

For Lionel: Blue sectors = yours. The red ones connected to them are the next sector over, and are the enemies.  Wink

And what about white sectors that are neutral and you and your enemy are trying to hold it, you want to put guys barely over lines so you can deny it to him and at the same time keep them close to your main line.  Not seeing sectors is a huge problem when it comes to backcapping sometimes, unless all the sectors on Foy are perfectly and exactly even with each other.

i am testing the map @ omg and it is not bright at all. in hopes to improve the game play, the sectors where changed to simple layout. as far as a map desync, i will try to get information from the relic website, but i dont believe its possible for a map to cause that.

Map author has informed me that he is no longer mapping for the time being. (Not for EIR or for OMG for that matter)

Foy is being scrapped from the .module and launcher until a reworked version is out (if ever).
