http://www.filefront.com/15337667/rare%20ending.rar

A game perhaps worthy of shoutcasting, the kind of the game you play which is insanely even and decided by some very random and queer events as the players rip at their hair and bite at their nails.

Very very few units alive at the end and sheer coincidence and probably a fair amount of luck allows one team to secure a sliver more of the victory cake as the game ends. The german side suffers horrible casualties to the allied armor but game is again overtaken as the tiger and king tigers are called on to the field.

Very few games usually called even will have gone down to this type of scale!

 This game was phenomenal.

If you want to see one that actually is close, instead of the usual nonsense, this is the game to watch. It was truly hilarious what it came down to at the end, and you will not spend a moment of this game unentertained. Winners and losers both agreed this was one that had to be replayed.

Expect to see some truly hilarious moments, some frantic micro, some extreme cat and mouse. Tanks with 1% hp refusing to say die (on either side), critical shrek/atg shots where you can just hear the player screaming in their head "PLEASE HIT". Ohhh beautiful.

 Just WOW.

 Spoiler alert: (Final scores)

For some reason i can only see the first three minutes of this game, and it also shows that i have a sync error. I put all the files in their respective places so does anyone know what could be going on? I'd love to watch this reaply. Thanks in advance

Did you update to the latest version of the launcher?
Are you running EIR?

The launcher is fully updated and i followed all the instructions on the how to watch/post replays topic. I modified the target file on the COH shortcut so that it launchs EIR if that's what you mean and that's what i run to watch them on. I only managed to watch one EIR replay and the following ones had the same issue. Should i be replacing the .sga files when i place them into the archives?

Yes you should.
I'll check the replay myself in a minute, perhaps its corrupted but that would be abnormal.

Aight I watched it too Smiley.

It was a very entertaining game with quite the amusing ending.
I think it has to be said though that it contains a fair share of 'significant' mistakes, Smokaz' play was atrocious at times and he's damn lucky Horcher (Aloha?) was compensating for it. Allies had some idle units once in a while, units that could've made a difference in the longer run no doubt. To be honest it's definitely a game that, from an outsider perspective, should not have ended up the way it did.

The ending, someone HAS to fraps the last part (grenadier and churchill croc dancing around house) in faster speed with benny hill music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg. IT WOULD BE EPIC. (Do it please!)

Anyway, it's not very often that you see a game THAT close and this entertaining but it's still unfortunate that so many mistakes were made imo. (Which directly contributed to the game being close in the first place) Great watch either way!

P.S Horcher, repair kits on your tiger man!

Hey Unknown I'd like to get more detailed comments from you. Could you elaborate a bit more on these two lines specifically? I've watched the replay again since playing and I completely agree with you, especially since I know there were some moments I had a stag, or some infantry sitting idle. When a game comes down to needing one more squad of infantry on the map, there are 10000 things that could have changed the outcome, but I'd like to get your input.

Yea I definitely could if you want, I'm just not comfortable with pointing to specific instances in this game considering its players are probably on a higher skill level than me, it's just not right for me to 'rub in' their errors :p

I'll do it later today though I guess.

It definitely was some MESSED up micro with my AT and I was just constantly overwhelmed by the british tanks. Churchills and kangaros are just such a bitch to fight, I'd rather fight a KT tbh

Great idea, 1 panther against 4 crocs. 3600 hp of churchill armor vs 700ish of panther. I mean the panther can just roll in there against the 6 pounder guns and own everything, right?  Roll Eyes
