At the end, assuming everyone is loyal:

- If you don't have the armor/shield/weapon upgrades for the Normandy, Jack/Tali/Thane die respectively.
- If your tech isn't either Tali or Legion, the tech dies.
- If the leader of the first fireteam isn't Garrus, Jacob, or Miranda, the tech dies.
- If the leader of the second fireteam isn't Garrus, Jacob, or Miranda, the leader of the second fireteam dies.
- If the biotic shield isn't either Samara or Jack, you get one of the people in your squad attacked by the swarm, and they die.
- Mordin dies in the end holding battle if he doesn't have his omni-tool upgrade, it's recommended to give that to him.
- Your squadmates that have stuff fall on top of them after the ending battle die if they aren't loyal (AFAIK).

So it is possible to have some of your team survive even if absolutely none of them are loyal...it's just very unlikely.

But wow Stumpster, good breakdown on the cutscene points, now I know what to do to intentionally kill people now.. heh... now question on the Biotic part... does the biotic live and one of the player's squadmates die, even if they are loyal? Or does the biotic AND a squadmate die... cause damn me to hell if I bring a good teammate and pick someone who isn't the biotic and lose them cause of that  Undecided

hmm, now i see whyh my tech died, i used Samara, who you know, being 1,000+ years old i thought would be the best as leading lol i'm playing through against on Hardcore, ughz...freakin varren have armor, all teh blood back have armor, blue suns have shields, and if you step out for 1 second too long you'll get popped.

Basically, as far as I understand it, the biotic (if it isn't Jack or Samara) isn't strong enough to hold the field all the way through.  One of your squadmates, not the biotic, gets carried away by the swarm because of it.

Yeah you do, she pretends to be samara since the crew wouldnt take it well. I took her, she was intoxicating (atleast on my renegade one) Tongue Apparently you can have sex with her as she thinks your too strong willed to die to it (she is wrong) The chats you can have with her are cool tbh.

Shame killing samara is renegade id take her with my paragon character too if i could Sad Hope the justicars fight for me in me3 :p

Not only was it laughably easy (on any difficulty), I have trouble understanding exactly where it fits in the storyline

(SPOILERS)




Because, let's face it, at the end of the game you have a fucking huge army of Reapers already inbound...what would one more do?  Is it just to see if we'd let the station live or not?  That also doesn't make any sense whatsoever, even if you saved the base and gave it to the Illusive Man, it's not like he's going to just turn around and be able to crank 'friendly' Reapers out (is that even possible?).  Honestly, I'm really hoping that this end is just the result of ME2 being the retarded middle child between the balls to the wall opening that was ME1 and the balls to the wall closing that should be ME3.

Yea the boss sucked. The point of the final boss tbh was that it attacked you...at least it wasn't another Saren for god sakes, that fight sucked. Anti-Material Rifle + Collector Particle Beam = Dead Reaper

bTW, wtf how do you create a freakin robot with that kind of material and then give it its own mind? thats just creepy...what is it, some huge flipin organic computer? Is this why the reapers do what they do every 50,000 years not just to destroy everything but to create more reapers? It kinda makes sense now cuz before i was like "thats just flippin evil, who comes around every 50k years just to kill everything, why?HuhHuh?" and now there's a reason although pretty creepy still...and finding out woht he collectors really were, whoa, although I had my suspiciousions that they looked a lot like them  and now that i've been talking about me2, time to go fire it up again thanks
