this is why bc2 > black ops. in blackops i'm already at level 50 in less than a week, in bc2 i'm at level 34 after months of playing. Also, if i freakin bomb the crap out of a bulding ur in, that building is coming to come down or i will knock enough holes in the wall to where you die. in Blackops, a freakin b-52 airstrike can blanket the whole map and nothing is destroyed, NOTHING. Its just stupid imo. I love the frostbite 2.0 engine, nothing better than seeing someone poke their head out a window, see u , jump back and all u gotta do is take out a nade launcher and not even have to put it thru the window, just hit the wall and bam, dead.

theres a new game coming out that takes it further and u best believe im getting that, its like the frostbite engie on steriods with some cod gameplay in.

This is why I love Bad Company 2. Just got out of Epic game where there was just awesome destruction all around lol. It never gets old for me being able to blow someone up hiding behind a window, or knocking down a tree to clear my line of sight, blowing craters into the ground to slow down vehicles and also hiding mines in those craters, blowing up mcom stations with c4 or mines placed around it and throwing nade on it, watching a helicopter explode in the sky after u tagged n bagged it. <3 <3 <3

graphic wise cod owns bc2, and single player im sure is a billion times better.  But lets be honest we're all multiplayers here, we don't care about those things when it comes down to it!

Hmm don't know about that salan, i have both COD black ops and BC2, and have to say there pretty much equal in it, if not BC2's are just a tad better.

how do the unlocks work in BC2?  like 2042 or whatever the number was?

Basically you have 4 class's

Aussault
Recon
Engineer
Medic

Each on has there own weapons, specialisations etc. Then there are weapons on the side that can be unlocked by going up levels etc.

Aussault is aussualt rifles
Recon is snipers
Engineer is sub machine guns
Medic is Light machineguns

You bassicaly play that role ingame and you get points to progress that class

So you can play the class that suits your want, or comfort essentialy. It also gives a bit more freedom. Say you want a aussalt rifle in cod but you have to go past all those other weapons climbing the ranks.

In bfbc2 theres aussault rifles in the aussualt class and not linked to ranks and levels. So you'll get your weapons faster. Unless it is a weapon that needs unlocked with a certain rank

the guns are all good and balanced and you can have fun without ELITISM that is seen in cod4.

BlackOps guns are certainly not balanced, with the ak74u and the Famas dominating most online play, a snipers in an almost unusable state from even a vaugly competative POV.

and COD players have always been elitist, thats what presteige is all about after all.

I ended up buying BC2 today ... i played for a hour before work and LOVED it.  Some of teh sprawling maps made the COD confined maps hillariously small in comparison.

I had thought BC2 was going to look like battlefield 2, from the sceen shot i saw earlier, but it is by far on par with the blackops graphics.  It actually runs better in most cases, although punk buster kept pausing and booting me off and on .. grr  i'll fix that when i have time.

the vehicles are well done comparably, i dno't have any stupid RCs blowing me up ..  all in all Black ops was a fun game in single player and the zombies is almost worth a reduced price of a game.. but badcompany 2 selling at 19 bucks a copy right now is 100% more what I want in a game.

Congrats salan, im glad you like it. You will find going up ranks takes time. Ive put in around 31 hours of play and im level 19, ima lay off it a little as i got my M14 finally

Cod levels up alot quicker. Ive played about 20 hours and have gotten to rank 65 i think?

Magnum rounds are broken IMBA and ruined the feel for me, have they patched to make Magnum rounds a less MUST have pick?

I personally found Magnums only useful on some weapons, others I find the extra accuracy or taking body armor more useful.
