My fav mod was EIR orig flav.  It got me playing COH, because I hated the flow feeling of vCOH, yet the callin system was unique and reminded me of Close Combat series.

Now, EIR:R is obv. my current favourite - I want to play more games than just test ones, and I will a lot after the doctrines are in.

What will make EIR:R more than what EIR orig was, is the Warmap.
Great plans for that little bit.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

Destination Reichstag/Joint Operations mod, amazing maps, amazing what they've done codewise and all.
I doubt Relic could've made it any better themselves.

That being said, I think CoH has become the game I have spent the most time on playing out of all games I've ever played. Ironically though, previews and reviews of COH didn't really appeal to me, it's when I tried the demo that I was entirely sold on the game. EIR (and :R) is definitely what has kept me playing ever since the vCOH novelty wore off.

Eirr for me too. Well the 0.06 Eir, when doctrines were ok (except maybye for ab, in my opinion) and when PE was a playable faction, and not the impossible wtf is that shitty army for big prices that we got right now.

The old PE doctrines were the most unbalanced doctrines ever.

Most fav mod ever : TLS. Who doesn't get it doesn't deserve to know about it, anyway.

The Last Stand.
That mini-game thing from DOW2? Well it is pretty awesome but I don't see what it has to do with EIR

Some guy over at RelicNews made a thread on how a persistent mod could work about 2 years ago, fldash was the one who stepped up to the challenge accompanied by several others.

TLS or 'The Last Stand' was a 'Campaign' for EIR that Salan and myself came up with. There was a war with a warmap and all players being registered on either allies or axis. Players were a part of a division with other players and were able to 'rank up' through combat, etc. Due to coding restraints however a lot of it was done manually.

I think this is the reference. Wargamed the Normandy operations...there were problems, but it was fun.
