emo is one thing, being stupid and changing your forum posting names on a regular basis is another.. i'd recommend against it anymore.

I change my forum names, myspace names, & etc. all the time. You should see my myspace name I change it every couple hours. I'm never happy with one thing. I don't change it to hide my identity or anything. I just like changing it. As I said I'm never happy with one name forever.

I don't have ADHD. I have Bipolar Disorder.

Which explains why I like to change everything all the time.

why does everybody have a disorder nowadays? doctors will always find a disorder that loosely fits the symptoms they are presented with so as to give the parents peace of mind that it is not their crappy parenting that fucked their child up.

(not aimed at you^)

Because if doctors blame the parents the parents get mad and sue them. Even if its not their fault that their child has nothing wrong the parents leave the court with money. I for one know that I have the symptoms, but the medicine doesn't help me any, so I don't think i have it.An American life isn't about "life" anymore its about the money. Thats where American Greed comes from.

In medicine symptoms don't always prove a disease, like a symptoms of lung cancer: bone pain, fever, weight loss, dyspnea (shortness of breath) etc could be anything.

Also E numbers have been proved to effect behavior, along with increasing evidence pointing to wards nurture as a cause for some behaviors and not actual diseases.

Thank you!!Finally someone agrees that it may not be from birth, but a behavior from how you were raised. As I see it, since 6different medicines I've taken don't make it better, but make it worse.

If a medicine you take for say Bipolar makes it worse, could that influence that you might not have it.

Nature vs Nurture!

one of the biggest psychological debates. but in truth there is no "Vs" both are factors so really is should be "nature and nurture."

take my daughter for instance ( how are we derailing such a great thread. )

She is over protected by her mother.  horribly so.  I fight endlessly for my daughters independence in an age appropriate manner.  yet I watch yearly as her abilities to function grow further and further behind those of her peers.    She is a normal healthy child, and if left to her own power her mom will make her into a anxiety driven youth.

Sad that parents are so blind and stupid about their behaviors, to bad we can't charge them for the damage they do.

It is always easier to see problems from an outside view, most people can stop and look that way, but they either 1. choose not too and carry on blindly or 2. (my case) can't be assed to do anything about it.

This can apply to anything - in my case it is spending too much time playing games etc and not revising for my A levels or generally working - i know im doing it, but cannot be assed to sort it out.

You may think you play too much computer, but then you have to consider all of the skills you gain by using the computer regularly and think about the exact value of other things you could be doing.

I'm probably on the computer more than anything. I'm on the computer 8 hours for work, and then when I go home I'm on it until I go to bed. Only time during the day I'm not on a computer is in the morning getting ready for work.

Bonjourno all,

Just got back from my 2 week FTX in SennyBridge. Good times all round. Hopefully will return to EIR in the near future but as of now I am mic-less and enjoying my summer.

I'm 22 (i think, stopped keeping track of these things), currently back in Hong Kong after graduating from UK. I dont have a cat to post. But here's the latest version of me attached.
